I had a great experience with Rona! As a first time dog owner, there are many questions I have about training my German Shepherd. Rona helped by giving me simple exercises to practice with my dog to improve confidence, eye contact and obedience.
Kenny has been fantastic!! In just a few sessions, he has got my little Cosmo listening to me like never before. He is very attentive and listens to any questions or concerns I may have. I've worked with several different dog trainers, but K9 Kenny is by far the best. I've already recommended him to several of my friends!!
If you're looking for a pet sitter you don't have to look any further. My name is Robert Squires. Lee watched over and loved and cared for my two little 14-year-old Jack Russell terrier's Mattie and Buddy. It was on short notice but Lee was accommodating and saw my babies three times a day and rub their bellies and throw the ball and see to all of their needs and just generally care for my companions. To top it off she even sent me a picture every day by message. It was so special. I felt very very comfortable with Lee watching over Mattie and Buddy. Lee also did some extra things for me as I was in such a hurry to prepare for my trip. My name is Robert Squires and my phone number is 505-452-7969. My email is RLSquires@gmail.com. Call me or email me if you would like to talk to me further as a reference I would be glad to do so.
My newly-adopted, two-year old, purebred German Shepherd had no 'dog socialization skills', and was fearfully aggressive with all dogs. His idea of a leash is what he attached to his human to take him/her wherever, at a speed he deemed appropriate. He had other undesirable traits and lacked those which are desirable. Well, within 24-48 hours Jax was running and playing with his new friends; learning what was undesirable; learning new desirable traits; and within 7-8 days was making Field Trips to Home Depot and Lowe's. Kevin is a true professional who obviously loves animals - both his and those of his customers. My proof of just how positive an experience Jax had was when we returned a few days later and Jax went running to Kevin - a strong bond was formed. A TEXAS-SIZE thank you to Aloha Canine Development Center for a positive experience beyond expectations.
Christie does absolutely amazing work, which is why we drove 2 hours to have her board & train our 2 yr old German Shepherd. We were running out of hope just when we came across K9 Mastery during an online hunt. She stuck out from the other standard 2-week board & train programs all over and decided to give her a shot. While it was hard having him gone for an entire month... boy, was it worth it! We used to get pulled all over when we had him on a leash and coming across other dogs and/or people was a nightmare. His aggression towards other dogs and people that he didn't know was our biggest issue and we were SO SHOCKED to see his progress when we picked him up after a month with her. She has done the impossible (or so we thought) and it was worth every penny. His sits, downs, and stays are even better than before and now he can even heel. And oh how thankful we are to not have tired and red hands after having him on the leash. I have already recommended K9 Mastery to several people who have asked us how our dog is so well trained and behaved.
I love Austin Dog Zone! My dog, a Basenji named Loki, has some anxiety issues. After adopting him for the local shelter, it soon became apparent that I would need some help. He was scared of everything: dogs, people, noises, and even things I couldn't see or hear. I turned to Austin Dog Zone for help with this, especially his on-leash reactivity. The moment we met trainer Caitlin Lane I was impressed, she obviously knew what she was doing. Over the course of four private lessons at my home she taught me everything I needed to know to help Loki with his anxiety. 2 and a half years later and Loki and I can go to the park and meet other people and dogs worry-free! I genuinely believe Caitlin is the best dog trainer in Austin. She's naturally good with dogs, she's extremely knowledgeable (I've never had a question that she couldn't answer), and she's infinitely patient. I really like that she focuses not only on training the dogs, but on teaching the owner what they need to progress without her. I've only met fellow ADZ trainer Reed Morgan once, but after talking with her I was very confident she was of similar caliber. Megan Sartori came on board after I moved to Dallas, but I have no doubts she's great. Finally, Laura Neiheisel is always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond over email. I know she does a ton of work behind the scenes, but in addition to that she's a fantastic liaison for the company. To sum up, Caitlin and ADZ have had a lasting impact on my life and the life of my dog. I'm so grateful for all their help!
I can't say enough good things about Kris and Canine Moxy! My husband and I rescued a German Shepherd mix from the middle of nowhere and have fallen head over heels for her over the past year. Despite the fact that she is the sweetest dog to us, we couldn't seem to shake her fear and "aggressive" behavior towards other dogs. When Kris arrived for her two-hour consultation I was immediately impressed - not only is he a trainer, but he is an animal behaviorist and was able to read things like her posture and reactivity to stressful scenarios. We chose to send our dog to a week long training with Kris at his house, and saw HUGE results. His analysis was that she was actually a feral dog and hadn't learned how to socialize with other animals at all before being rescued. He was great about sending updates and pictures while she was away, which made the experience much less stressful on her overprotective parents! Since working with Kris, our dog has transformed from a dog that would enter into extreme panic mode when passing another dog on a walk to being able to go to a dog park and have positive interactions with other dogs. Hiring Kris was the best decision we have ever made, and we plan to continue working with him!!
I think this company does so much more then leave me with confidence that my dog is safe while I'm traveling but also the compassion and dedication to helping and improving my dogs life with in the household as well as in public!! I have so much more fun now knowing that my dog is being trained properly and in a humane manner then others trainers use. My dog is still learning things but I'm glad I use Darling Pet sitting and training to help me in pet sitting stays and to train my dog.
Kim has provided my husband and I with the confidence and tools needed to manage our sweet but anxious 3 year old shepherd mix around unfamiliar people/situations. Kim did a great job on educating us on our dog's behaviors and then explained how we can manage them. We have learned so much and will continue to implement what we have learned.
We started working with Doug for our German Shepard who wouldn't behave. His work with her was amazing and now she not only listens, but has dozens of tricks she likes to do to show off. However our best experience with Doug was when we decided to add a rescue dog to our family. We asked Doug to help and he was able to see past the new dogs aggression and with his guidance our dogs are now inseparable buddies. Doug has the ability to see past a dogs bad behaviors and is able to reveal who the dog really is. He's the 'My Fair Lady' of dog trainers.
Julie is the Texas dog whisperer. Thank you for you god given talents and hard work that you put into all the four legged friends you work with! 🐶
Ian has been fantastic. We hired him thinking we were getting a dog walker but he is so much more. We have 3 beagles and he not only walks them but works on training and we have noticed much better behavior - the dogs love him. Ian is absolutely fantastic.
Went to Canine Academy for training with my 9 month old German Shepherd puppy. He had reached the stage where if something doesn't change, he would have to go. I talked to Lisa, the owner, who told me that the toughest time was between 8 and 14 months, and that she was confident training would help. We went, and it did! The training was casual but focused. My 11 y/o daughter came with and spent a lot of time working with the dog. It's obvious the instructors know what they are doing and have had experience with many types of dogs. I would absolutely recommend this place...and I have!
I got a female German shepherd from Sharon. She came already trained, guard trained, protection, obedient, housebroke etc. She knows all basic commands and does them when told the first time. I love this dog so much. she is healthy also. I highly recommend this breeder for buying or training. she's the best! She knows what she is doing and After I got my dog I must have called her 20 times a day, she always picked up the phone and answered my questions. I also sleep well at night knowing "sasha" is in the house! Monica J
