If I could leave less than one star I would. This man not only tried to over charge, although successfully negotiated down, he did not show up twice when he said he would be there nor did he respond to texts. We had already called another offer when we showed up from work and he was cutting trees. Now to the work. I cried for several hours after seeing my 20 year old crepe myrtles pruned to the ground in mid-July. Instead of trimming the tops to shape them and provide the opportunity for new growth, "crepe murder" occurred. Small branches from the roots were left and twenty year old larger trunks were sawed through and taken from 30 feet to less than three. These were planted by my kids when the home was built in 1996. The one tree provided privacy and sun protection for a corner kitchen window. With six large branches, all from the same half of the plant missing, I am worried for the trees survival. I will not be alive another 20 years to see the growth, now will those branches ever come back. Now the sun beats through the kitchen window as it did years ago, my shaded patio is wide open, and all four crepe myrtles are badly destroyed (pruning is too nice a word). He also wears a meat hat as if it is a hard construction hat. The "bump" hat will not provide safety needed.

I am sorry that you were unhappy with the tree trimming. I had a clear conversation with Joe before and after the work was done and he let me know that he was happy. His girlfriend didn't want too many branches removed, but Joe approved removing those branches because they were dead, which are the ones described in the review near the window and patio. I was very surprised by this review because when I left Joe was happy and didn't voice any concerns. Customer satisfaction is very important to me, I wish I would have known Joe was unhappy at the time so that I could have made the situation better.
