We recently had Mr. Stephen Frank of Housemaster of Northwest Dallas do a home inspection for us. As a home owner, this was the third time that I had a home inspection done for a property that I own or was buying. By comparison this one was by far the best. The inspection lasted almost four hours. Mr. Frank and his colleague went through the property in great detail. When they were finished they spent over a half hour explaining the flaws that they found and used photographs to illustrate all problems that needed attention. Their narrative followed a logical progression starting on the first floor, moving to the second floor, to the garage, and finally ending with an examination of the house from the outside including the patio and fence. I give Mr. Frank of Housemaster my highest recommendation and will use him exclusively in the future.

arrived on time, respectful of the property and was most thorough. Issued a very complete and readable report in a timely manner. Of the several inspections I have had done, this was the most complete. The best.

Housemaster was very detailed and informative. Very thorough in the inspection. Actually informed me that I had a rat problem in my attic that I wasn’t aware of. Got that taken care of immediately,

Your inspection was thorough and professional. Your detailed report and photos alerted me to many small and some big expensive issues the house has. Better to know now than face a bigger, surprise problem in the future.

Their report was most comprehensive and complete. I especially appreciated the walk-through where they showed me areas of concern, especially matters related to safety.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We price competitively and offer discounts to first responders, veterans, and teachers. For those seeking extra value, we have negotiated savings opportunities on moving related goods and services, from trucks to junk haulers, mattresses, appliances, and more. It is quite possible to more than offset the entire cost of the home inspection.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When you purchase a home inspection from us, we set up time to explain what to expect during the home inspection process. We'll walk you through the digital tools and information available on our website as well as in the permanent cloud account we set up for every customer. Your cloud account not only houses your home inspection but also provides a place to store vital home information and access a variety of maintenance tools and offers.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In addition to being licensed as a professional home inspector, Texas' highest level of license, I have also received training through the National Institute of Building Inspectors. I am always trying to add new certifications to add additional value to the customer experience.
