DFW Painting came out with a competitive bid to paint the downstairs in my condo (about 700 ft), including the 18 ceilings. They were completely done in less than 8 hours and left it spotless. They even used the non-smell (low VOC) paint. It looked so good, my realtor recommended that I do the upstairs as well as it looked dingy compared to the vibrant & fresh downstairs. I went ahead and did this and my condo sold in 1 day with 3 competing bids over the list price. I credit DFW Paints work for getting that result! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We provide detailed, line item pricing for all the work to be performed so that there is clarity as to the scope of the project before it begins. Also, it allows the customer to meet their own defined project budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We set an appointment to come to the customer's home or property, discuss the work the customer wants performed, take measurements, and then input the measurements and work information into our estimating system. A quote is presented and each line item and the related price is gone over with the customer to ensure that all of the work the customer desires performed is covered, processes are discussed and any questions are answered. When the customer is ready to move forward, the quote(s) is(are) made part of a Work Agreement which is electronically provided to the customer for signature. Once we receive the signed Work Agreement back, scheduling contacts the customer to schedule the work. A project manager oversees the work being performed and at the end of the project does a walk through with the customer to identify any touch-ups needed. When touch-ups can't be completed at the time of the walk through, they are scheduled with the customer within the next few days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?DFW Painting's crew managers have a strong background in the painting industry. They vet our paint crews before we hire them and then instruct the paint crews on the DFW Painting standards for prepping areas to be painted, processes and proper equipment for the various services provided and then monitor the projects to ensure a high quality outcome.
