FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process for working with a new customer is discussing their wish look for their furniture, kitchens or restrooms. We ask for the customer to send pictures of the furniture or room they want refinished – even pictures of examples. Color schemes and specialty finishes are reviewed, prices are discussed, and then we set up a date to start working.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a child I started salvaging rusty goods, refinished furniture and painting. Eventually I studied art in college. Mike started repairing anything he could get his hands on in high school. He worked for an interior remodeler throughout college, Mike honed his painting skills and applied them to furniture as well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My husband was working in the vet field and layoffs began at his company. Everyday we’d wonder if today was the “day”. We had already refinished pieces on the side for fun and it was a relaxing hobby. Mike and I prayed and asked God to show us the direction to take. With a huge leap of faith, he gave his notice, and never looked back.
