FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For personal training training, each session is $75. The best way to observe my rates is $3000 for 40 sessions. Noticeable body changes can occur after that amount of time on a consistent regimen. I do have smaller packages, but I do like for clients to be around for 40 sessions at least and hopefully hundreds more. For Savate and Boxing, the rate is $200 / month for general classes. At this time I don't do contracts and everything is month to month. The annual dues for the International Guild of Danse de Rue Savate are $100 a year for adults and $65 a year for under 17. I also do private teaching starting at $75 a session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each client is different. But with all clients, my goal is to be dependable, friendly, and to give them the quality of knowledge, encouragement, and service they expect and deserve. I want people to look forward to training and feel great and happy on the way home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have obtained the technical rank of Silver Glove 2 and the teaching rank of Aide-Monitor. I competed in the ring over a span of 9 years. My Professeur (teacher) is Professeur Paul Raymond Buitron. I started training under him in December of 1992. I started teaching Savate in 1994. I spent 9 years as math teacher and coach in Texas public schools. I coached numerous men's and women's sports, was in charge of the strength and conditioning of our athletes for 3 years, and ran strength and conditioning camps many summers. After teaching/coaching, I also started personal training in which I have trained over 27,000 private sessions.
