- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my pricing fair yet below what others charge as I know that special occasions can become costly quite fast. Rather than have someone cancel photos entirely or opt for some stuffy person in a suit who doesn't engage with guests, I've always made sure to be laid-back yet professional in the quality of photos I take. If working together makes us both happy, I'm all for it!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, I'll message to confirm location, timing, and expectations upfront as my goal is to make people repeat customers. It's one thing to simply do an "ok job", but my goal is to make sure every customer's needs are addressed from start to finish.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since owning my first film camera as a kid, photography has always been ingrained in my very being. Over time, I've changed multiple cameras and continued my pursuit to capture dazzling photos. It wasn't til a few choice shots earned recognition from world-renowned artists that I realized I could turn my hobby into something I truly enjoy doing each and every day.
