I give Ken only four stars, as I have not seen him teach. From what I know going to Naropa University having tai chi and yoga classes with him, is that he is dedicated, patient with, and passionate about whatever he does. He's an experiential learner and I'm sure that translates into his teaching.
I have enjoyed studying Tai Chi with Sifu Justin Harris for the past four years, after studying Tae Kwon Do the prior twenty years. Sifu Harris teaches health, meditation, and martial arts. Including the martial applications with references and quotes from the Tai Chi Classics. Sifu Harris has a large knowledge base of other martial arts styles, techniques, and training methods honed by years of practice. He is a great teacher and easy to approach with questions.
Very friendly gym, and Travis and Maze are outstanding. Even though I attend group classes the class sizes are small and I still get a lot of personal attention. All the benefits of an individual personal trainer for a much lower cost. I have no experience with the yoga or Tai Chi classes offered at MindSet.
I put my son in Jernigans Tai Kwon Do classes. He progressed rapidly, and I can say the proprietor used gentle but firm hands to get him where he needs to be. Their technique is solid. The team was amazing. They were very well educated and versed in the art, with a high degree. I give them 100%!

Started lessons about 2 years ago and found the instructor to be a wealth of knowledge in not only teaching tai chi, but breathing, self-defense, and incorporating all those elements and history in his classes. It is great how beginner students can immediately get a flavor of how tai chi movements can improve their balance, posture, well-being, and body awareness. Anybody can try tai chi. Even those students with any physical concerns or limitations have said they enjoyed feeling improvements in their overall health. I enjoy assisting and getting to work with a variety of students learning at many levels.
