Introduction: Clients do not all have to choose the same items. I offer a fresh soup or salad, an entrée, and two sides to each client. They have choices; the menu can be gourmet, down-home, vegetarian heart healthy, or whatever the client desires. It's not like "Tuesday is meatloaf night". ( However, I do make a great meatloaf. It's on the menu sometimes, too!). Clients choose a preferred delivery time, and I personally deliver their meals. I focus on busy executives and empty-nesters, and I also cater to families. Often the kids' after school activities mean picking up (not always good) food on the way home. Carolyn's Cuisine is the perfect solution! Personal service, personal choices. I like the creativity and the flexibility that my job allows. I love to cook - I have forever , so Carolyn's Cuisine is the perfect vehicle for me to show my creativity to those who love great food. Entertaining has always been a part of my life. I enjoy preparing food from different cultures, and I'm able to offer these diverse dishes to my clients, with the confidence that they will be received well. I've been able to showcase my food on a broader scale recently as my catering has begun to expand.

Everything was delicious, and she was SO easy to work with. I had 20 relatives that I had to host for dinner only 3 weeks after back surgery, and it all went off without a hitch. I highly recommend her services to those looking for a great caterer! Brava!

Carolyn is an excellent cook. She went out of her way to accommodate our taste and requirements. We also wanted slight changes to our schedule every other week, and she had no problem with them. She is very funny too.

I really enjoyed working with Karthik and Ramya. I was able to stretch some of my abilities as a chef to create vegetarian Indian dishes. The glowing reports about my food make it all worthwhile. I just started using Carolyn to deliver dinner for 5 one night a week. We had a our first delivery today and it was OUTSTANDING! Everyone loved their food and the portions were big enough that we have some left overs for tomorrow. She is great to deal with and so nice and friendly in person. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Many of my friends and family members encouraged me to do this. They knew how much I love to cook, and that I was cooking for friends who were empty nesters, for people over 70 who had decided they were going to stop cooking, and for some busy executives. I was also doing some cooking for a family, so I took their advice.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The customer needs to know that the provider is honest & has a true interest in what the customer likes or dislikes as far as his food preferences. The provider needs to sit down with the customer to ascertain those preferences, (I do that). And the customer needs to know if there is anything that the provider is not willing to prepare. For example, I do not prepare shellfish or pork.
