    I have a small practice. My husband, Rollie, recently retired and is now handles the "nuts and bolts" in the office. To keep costs down, I depend on my paralegal, to do the drafting of legal documents, letters and emails to opposing counsels or parties. My role is to fully review the paralegal's work and represent you in court, third-party meditations or negotiations with the opposing counsel.     All attorneys are required to complete courses in ethics and their legal specialty - Family Law for me. If an attorney doesn't keep up with the always changing Texas law, the attorney will lose their Texas Bar Association card and won't be able to practice law.
