Hello Hagit, I am so sorry about the frustration you are feeling right now, it is never our intention to give any of our customers a poor experience. Having said that, when you made your reservation on our website, you gave us less than 24 hours notice to get your move set up. As soon as you booked your move, we sent you a confirmation email minutes later letting you know it was not a confirmed reservation due to the short notice. We are so sorry if we did not properly explain this again in the Thumbtack message when you asked if you were scheduled, this is on us, and we will do our best in the future to be more transparent with our customers. Finally, you mentioned to us that you had flexibility on your move time, and we were happy to reschedule your move to a time that worked best for both of us given the short notice. However, since you threatened two of our employees, we did not feel it was appropriate to do business together and canceled your reservation instead of finding an alternative time. We are sorry this left a bad taste in your mouth about Bellhops, but feel the best decision was made given the circumstances.

Quote is very misleading as it does not include the moving truck and was not broken out to show there were additional fees. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Whether you book online or over the phone, we'll guide you through our free reservation process. In minutes, we’ll gather all the necessary details, answer any questions you have, and provide an estimate. Once the reservation is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation e-mail so that you can verify all the details of your upcoming move. On the night before your move, you will receive an e-mail that includes a photograph of each bellhop so that you’re greeted by familiar faces the next day. Your Captain will get in touch on the morning of your move to let you know your team is on the way. Each bellhop will arrive in his or her own personal vehicle. (That’s the way they roll.) Once your team has arrived, they’ll conduct a brief walk-through, take note of any special instructions you may have, and then get to work. When the move is complete, you will receive an e-mail to confirm your service and leave a review. You'll also have the opportunity to tip your bellhops without needing cash on hand. We will charge the same card you used to schedule the move.

Prior to being accepted onto our platform, candidates must first complete an interview process to ensure they possess the personality and skills necessary to provide a phenomenal moving experience.
