Introduction: I am a classically-trained professional violinist and teacher. I dedicate most of my time to teaching young violin students. I rarely reschedule or cancel lessons, miss appointments, or such. You can expect professionalism of the highest caliber. I can refer you to any of my student families to corroborate this. I am 100% dedicated to my students' musical progress and to helping their parents guide student home practice. I also play the violin professionally, make music recordings, and coach music. I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children. I am also a journalistic and event/concert photographer the rest of the time. We knew about Mr. Rigo through one of my son's friends who takes violin lessons with him. One time this boy played the violin beautifully at one of my son's school music programs. I could not believe how well a five year-old could play the violin. My son had started to show an interest in violin, so we talked to Mr. Rigo about it. He was very personable and professional when I talked with him on the phone. I had several questions and he answered them thoroughly. Then, he invited us to visit his studio and watch him teach. After we saw Mr. Rigo teach and visited with him, my husband and I realized that he was the perfect fit to teach our son. Mr. Rigo is a great teacher with my son and explains to me how to practice every difficult spot in the violin pieces. I have been amazed at how my son longs to play his violin now. He's been learning faster than I thought he would learn. Mr. Rigo has a way of making every lesson fun and memorable. He is very enjoyable, fun-loving and he's as accessible and friendly as anyone can be. He is very professional and always communicates very well with us about all the things happening in his studio. We are very happy with him and would recommend him to anyone.

If you are looking for quality, expert instruction, fun, and great musical achievements, this is your place! If you are just looking for the cheapest lessons to get by and explore the instrument, there are other more inexperienced/novice teachers out there who charge less.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You can come for a lesson observation and meeting for free. Or you can come two times, three, or as many as you'd like. Then, you will see what we at LNM Studio are all about.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Suzuki trained violin teacher and have taken courses every year several times. I am certified to teach Suzuki books levels 1-10 and constantly research better ways to help parents practice with their children. I have written many articles in music education journals and have collaborated with other teachers in educational endeavors.
