- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a fairly simple pricing structure. It starts with: What do you need? I have a base range for just about everything I do. I usually "grade" with a level 1, 2, or 3. Level 1 being a very simple straight forward job and ending with Level 3 for technical needs and amount of extra time.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have always had a creative side. I enjoyed painting and doodling and found I had a good eye for layout and design styles. I wanted to have a flexible career where I could put my kids on the bus and be there when they got home. I kind of fell into graphic design when a neighbor asked my opinion on a brochure graphic. I started sketching and then learned how to turn those sketches into graphics for the computer. I love my career and the family opportunities it has allowed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I have worked with several clients for years. From the beginning steps of their businesses when we creating a logo to developing their brand. Incorporating their brand and style to express themselves through a cohesive website. From there developing a series of print ads and or postcards for direct mail campaigns. Posters or catalogs to digital advertising graphics. I help keeping their brand out front and their mission clear.
