As a Master Court Interpreter and Translator for more than 18 years, I have gained experience in accurate conceptual translation from English to Spanish or Spanish to English specializing in the legal and medical fields in particular. I enjoy languages, origin of words and their meaning and accurately conveying one to another for purposes of communication and peaceful resolution of issues between parties. I find it very satisfying to help others communicate and understand one another.

She excels as translator and interpreter and knows various dialogues of Spanish. Monica translates a variety of documents from medical records and legal documents to auto appraisals from Spanish to English. She is very thorough and quite professional and her work is truly impressive. Her work speaks for itself. The translations are used by my clients in litigation cases. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard fee for transcription and translation is $.15 / word on final product. But on this site I provide a discounted rate for these customers only.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Exchange a written agreement stipulating expected product, production turnaround time, rate for services and any other details specific to the project and services to be performed and method for payment and receipt of product to be agreed by both parties.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bilingual from grade school, with additional training in both languages throughout secular education and additional college training with Associate in Paralegal Arts and Sciences, Certificate in Medical Terminology. 14 years work experience working as Paralegal in large law firm. With 4 simultaneous years work experience doing transcription and translation and 16 additional years work experience as a freelance court interpreter and translator.
