Juan did a great job! It took quite awhile to determine a solution, but he put in a whole new wire and breaker to get it working. Very reasonably priced and Juan was professional and courteous.

Needed to replace a couple of breaker panels. Matthew was very professional and went the extra mile to make the whole process run smooth. I would definitely recommend MCG Electric Service to a friend or relative.

I was having my furnace replaced and the installing technician was unable to get power to the unit. The technician said I needed to have the breaker replaced and to call an electrician. Johnny responded to my thumbtack request within a few minutes and was on site within an hour. Johnny pulled the panel cover off the breaker box and used a meter to verify that the breaker did indeed have power and was not the cause of the failure. Johnny asked if he could look at the furnace and within a few minutes found that the heating technician forgot to reset the "dead man switch" set to off. Once that problem was resolved the furnace started working. Bear in mind Johnny didn't have to take that extra step so a big thank you to him for that. My circuit breaker box was showing signs of age (see picture) and I asked Johnny to give me a quote to replace the box and all breakers. His price was fair and he estimated a 2 to 3 hour time to replace everything. Its now been at least a week and I've had zero electrical issues. Johnny has a strong understanding of all things electrical and is very customer focused. He took the time to explain things using laymen terms and want to make sure I was satisfied with their work before leaving the premises. I highly recommend him and will be using his services again. He's the very definition of a pro.

I hired JSR Electrical to upgrade the circuit breaker and wiring to my kitchen island to facilitate installing a newer cooktop which required more amps (40). My old one required only 30 amps. I submitted the request through Thumbtack at almost 5 p.m., and received the bid within minutes; they were able to come out the very next day. They had find the location of the wire in my garage wall and cut a hole to access the wire. They found the right wire by tracing it, and cut the hole in the right place. They repaired the wall when they were through. They were careful to leave the old wire in place until they had the new wire pulled, to ensure I could have a working cooktop (the old one) even if they couldn't get the new wire pulled; I appreciated this back-up plan. They were successful, though, in pulling the new wire -- which they chose to support 50 amps -- just in case even more amperage is needed in the future. I also appreciated that foresight. They called when they were on their way and arrived exactly at the scheduled time. They had two electricians working on my house for 2.25 hours for this work. Their price was $410, and that was the total charge for labor (4.5 manhours) and parts (about 30 feet of wire, 40 amp circuit breaker, and a couple lengths of 2x4 so they could securely repair the hole in my drywall). I had been told by an appliance installer who had been to my house earlier that there would be a 50% chance that pulling the wire would be unsuccessful and the floor would have to be chiseled out to lay the new wire -- so I was very pleased that JSR was able to pull the wire without having to destroy my floor.

AEE did a great job installing the outlet and breaker I needed for my electric car charger. They stayed in contact with me until the day of the appointment. On the day of the appointment, i received updates letting me know the technician was on his way and then followed up to ensure I was satisfied with the job they had done. I couldn't be happier.

Steven was fantastic to work with. He came out quick to explain everything to me and go over out options. He even came back out to go over final details with my husband and to ensure he understood everything. He showed up and did a fantastic job wiring our carport and added circuits to our garage. We're definitely hiring him again since he's already prepped additional work we need done once other things are taken care of first. We already been bragging to friends about him too.

I have hired McCuin's Electrical on many occasions. When one side of my rent house was inoperable, they came to trouble shoot and restored electricity to the house. Another time they changed out the wiring and breaker box. I've had them run wiring and install a couple of 220 plugs. In addition they have installed ceiling fans and faulty electric plugs through the house. I have found them to be trustworthy and stick with the job until it's finished. I've been very pleased with the service and will continue to call them for my electrical needs.

Jeff came out to our office when our AC unit was not working. He came first to troubleshoot the issue. He then replaced the breakers and a few additional items. His pricing beat the bigger company’s quote. He did such a good job that we hired him back to install our security system and camera’s. He even cleaned up the area when he was finished. Definitely recommend.
