We decided to have a girls night in cooking class party with Chef Luke and it was the most fun ever! Chef Luke was so nice, managed time perfectly, explained very well, shared his recipes, let us be as hands on or off as we wanted, and the food was truly outstanding. We all had such an amazing night and will be raving about it forever. We'll definitely be calling Chef Luke again. We can't thank him enough!

This review is long long over due! Chef Cassy came to my home to cook for me, my family, and friends as a suprise for my birthday! I came home and she and her staff were already at work in my kitchen. The first thing I noted was that she and her staff were professionally dressed. I loved having a real life Chef in my house cooking for me!! I also noted that although she was cooking several dishes everything seemed to have it's schedule and the process ran smoothly. As it should since Chef Cassy is a professional chef. The food was delicious to say the least. The wonton stuffed with collards and ham are the BEST!! She also prepared salad and a grilled chicken Alfredo dish. I know chicken Alfredo seems like the standard run of the mill dish. Because to me, this dish seems standard. Enough so that, myself along with all of my guests couldn't stop raving about how hers really set a new bar for Grilled Chicken Alfredo! Even the salad which was again a seemingly simple dish was notably delicious and stood out amongst others I have eaten. As far as professionalism and interaction goes, I must say that Chef Cassy remained very professional. She and her staff stuck to what they came to do. But my friends and family being a bit more informal engaged Chef Cassy with conversation, questions, and raves. She blended very well into our relaxed environment as well. We all felt very comfortable with Chef Cassy and would certainly have her back again. I would recommend her to anyone looking for her services and suggest her to anyone who wasn't particularly looking. The whole experience was one I will not soon forget. Thank you Chef Cassy!!!

Chef Tim was a great teacher and host for our team building activity. He listened to my requests, provided ample time for my team to prepare food and socialize, and was in budget. It was a memorable experience. You can feel confident in hiring Chef Tim for your next private party, catering event, or in my case team building event/cooking class.

Dianne met with me prior to my first ever cooking class. I am beginner is the world of cooking. Dianne made me feel comfortable and set up a cooking class meet soon after. The cooking class was so engaging and fun. I was chopping and cooking veggies that I've never tried before. Dianne gave me great direction and she was so helping and welcoming. I am just so thrilled to keep learning from her.

I can't say enough great things about Chef Amber and her food. A friend of mine told me that she went to her watch party when she was on Cutthroat Kitchen and the food she made there was AMAZING! I started following her on social media after that, and when she started advertising her menus I knew I wanted to try. I was having some family over and thought it would be the perfect time - I wouldn't have to cook so would have more time to spend with the family. She actually came to my house, was on time and brought everything with her. We had a combination of her sweet and spicy chicken and the steak dinners. They were to die for! I have never had chicken so delicious in my life. I don't really eat beef, but the ones that did were super impressed. The house smelled like a 5 star restaurant and Chef Amber was incredibly nice and funny. I figured she would just be in her zone, cook and leave, but she spoke to the family while she was cooking, she was personable AND she cleaned up before she left so literally all I had to do was enjoy myself and eat!!! I will DEFINITELY be calling her again for my next whatever it may be! And the prices are not bad for having an actual Chef come to your home and make such an amazing meal! Thank you again Chef Amber!

I attended Kimberly's cooking lessons at Natural Grocers. Not only were here recipes easy and talks full of health wisdom, she managed to make kale and cacao seem interesting and hilarious. I love her seasoned breakfast tacos and her all natural raw truffles are absolutely delishious, leaving me vibrant! No post indulgence crash. She made health go hand and hand with flavor. Excellent!

I wanted to learn how to cook so I could make fancy dinners for my wife. Randy was able to teach me how to cook even though I have zero skills in the kitchen. He is an excellent teacher, patient, and always willing to help. He started by teaching proper techniques and now after 2 weeks I feel like I can cook anything. If you're looking to learn how to cook or just want a private chef I highly recommend Randy.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
