FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Labor is always the toughest. Because every job is different, It is hard to know exactly how long certain jobs will take and it is most of the time guessing at the time. Materials are simple to figure.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For my CEU's, I take seminars and classes every year, more than needed. This way I learn so much about what is going on throughout North Texas, whether it is about insects being transported in from other states on plants, disease that area spreading through plants and how to erradicate these problems. A & M Extension office holds most of the classes I go to. It is so important to take these seminar classes and not just do online or book CEU's. Also, about what is going on with water conservation, and new techniques for irriagtion to save water etc.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I guess the answer would be I have this inside passion for nature. All the years growing up my father and mother made me work out in the garden and outside...and I hated it.. Funny how it ended up being what I love. Thank you Dad for making me do the labor!!
