Dan replaced wooden porch rails pickets. Work included painting the new wood and attaching the rail assemblies to brick pillars. Quality of work was good, rails were mounted well and were symetrical. Work was done in a timely manner. Rate was very reasonable.
Gamez Drywall and Repair installed a ceiling in my bathroom that had been previously removed and replaced all the walls. I wanted them to create a "box" in the ceiling to hold the base of my chandelier (to raise the chandelier higher). They understood exactly what I was trying to accomplish and did a great job. When they showed up I actually had a couple other surprise drywall projects since our initial meeting to discuss the estimate. They were flexible and accommodated the extra projects. They also completely textured the walls and ceiling in the powder room, fixed some recently created holes in my dining room ceiling and repopcorned to match the existing and installed a panel of drywall behind my upstairs toilet (the plumbing was recently rerouted and Sheetrock removed). When it came time for texture they offered me several techniques. I asked if they could replicate like the rest of the rooms to keep consistent and they did a great job of matching. The room looks exactly like the vision I had in my mind. They were very professional, showed up on time for the estimate meeting and also when they came back to do the work and their pricing was fair value for the work/services provided. I would hire/recommend again.
Mr. Juan was extremely professional, polite and friendly. He worked quickly and competently. He did the initial work requested and additional work that came up. The price was more than reasonable. I would absolutely recommend him for any home improvement work you may need done! Job: Built new & install back patio door frame, painted 2-rooms, back patio door & all trim, self-leveling back patio, painted concrete front porch and back patio. A Job Well Done !!!
Had a fence replaced. Did a great job at great price. Came in very close to the over the phone ,"site unseen quote'. Found a few things the builder had done that they had to work around, and explained it all to me ahead of time. Already asked him to price supplies to re-frame/weather seal a box window and replace a porch pillar.
Larry came out just a few hours after I requested a quote. He hung some outdoor curtains on my screened porch. He was prompt and professional. I'd hire him again for other projects!
I live in Rowlett, TX, and I hired Carsa Construction to add a sunroom to my home. The room is beautiful, and I am so impressed! The owners, CJ and Alfredo, are wonderful and so are the guys that work for them. They are friendly, reliable, professional and competitively priced! I am giving them an A+ rating. I would definitely hire them again, and I'm not always the easiest person to please! THANKS GUYS!
My name is Beverly H. Dennis built a fence around the patio area of the duplex that I own. He replaced shingles on my roof and also built a railing around the perimeter of the front porch. Dennis provided estimates prior to doing the work and worked within my budget, letting me know if the price of materials needed was more or less than expected. Whenever I wanted to alter the plans, he listened, offered advice and proceeded with what we agreed upon. Dennis is an awesome honest person and I will continue to call on him when I need help.
Mr. Shafer repaired my front porch and installed backsplash in my kitchen. He was very prompt; there were no delays. He was very affordable and customer service oriented.
Mr. Fixit repaired our front door lock and one yard gate lock, in about one hour. Communication with Holly and her team was clear and work was prompt and well done. We will definitely use their services again.
He built us front steps and deck porch, excellent work and very reasonable price. All done in a few hours, will use him to build our back deck and steps also.
We needed a contractor to remodel our front and back porches and also to underpin both porches. Even though they ran into some problems with the structures due to previous owners DIY work they persisted and fixed the problems and built the porch railings, new posts, and underpinning just the way we wanted. So many contractors want to do it their way and I love the fact that they realized it was my dime not theirs. The only "con" I could add is they need to work on their scheduling a bit but when you're new and trying really hard to get your name out there it's kind of hard to turn away jobs. I know because I have been there done that. "All In The Family" transformed our home from plain vanilla to warm and welcoming! Always wanted a home with that farmhouse appeal and now we have it! (Check out the before and after photos.) Now all we have to do now is get off our backsides, figure out what color/colors to paint and get our new black shutters installed. LOL Steve, Dawn and Duane are eager to please, wonderfully pleasant "Christian" people and relatively new in this area so give them chance and give them a call, you'll be glad you did.
Juan and his crew did a very good pouring a concrete patio in my back yard. I would definitely use them again in the future.
What started as a re-roofing job turned into a remodel! Work is still in progress, but a few weeks in they are ahead of schedule. Ridgeline took down our tiny, falling down front "porch" and put up a new one that is big enough to have a party on. Also in the works are bathroom updates with all new floors, fixtures and tile. Framing crew were excellent, you could tell from the way they worked that they took pride in their work. And cleaning up after themselves every day.
I have had ,Tony, do three seperate jobs for me, and each was done in a timely and professional manner. Of the most obvious of the three jobs, the most notable is my front outer entry way which included replacement of bad wood and painting. I have received numerouse compliments from people who had seen what it was like before. There was no dripped paint on my porch or brick. I would highly recommend him, and intend to hire him again next year, '2015'.
Daniel Fletchman was the most critical contractor on my renovation I just completed. He completed the following: installation of appx 3,500 sq ft of drywall (hanging, tape, bed, and level 4 sheetrock), custom craftsman style door and window trim as well as all the baseboards and crown molding for the entire house, installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, craftsman style wainscoting, installation of all interior and exterior doors, building front porch columns, nail down wood floor installation, kitchen tile backsplash, and tile installation over brick fireplace. He is very pleasant to work with (outstanding attitude and work ethic). He is efficient and a great problem solver. I will definitely be working with Daniel for my future projects.
I needed help w a add on at a water front lot at Lake Tawakoni. We started off framing, roof deck, Hardie siding, front porch build out, fireplace install, chimney. The interior was a Cathedral style and had engineered beams at a decent height. Turned a 30k into 275k property. Well done
Matt & his crew did several jobs for me. The jobs included building a 40x30 garage, 12'x50' deck, 10'x10' deck for a hottub, a small back porch, arranged for my concrete retaining wall, sidewalk & steps, framing & skirting my 42x64 mobile home with concrete board & even put in a horseshoe pit. The jobs were completed beyond my satisfaction, within budget, & on time. His crew arrived when they said they would be there & worked hard the whole time, always professional & friendly, very easy to work with & cleaned up after themselves. Matt stands behind his work. I had absolutely no problems. I would hire his company again!
The front porch concrete was sinking and I hired Paragon to fix it.
Please read this story if you want to know how this company really is. I needed to do a lot to mine and husbands house my husband is 67 and I'm 61 years old so we have medical reasons for everything we needed done. We needed a bigger room for medical equipment so we decided to turn the garage in to our new room so we needed the garage door taken off and a wall framed it needed to be sheet rocked, siding on the outside, a window, french doors, and a extra spot in the wall for a AC/heater unit we needed the house cleaned and disinfected, painted in side, and out and we needed our fence replaced. So we pretty much needed a major over haul to our home because of my husbands illness. So I had already wrapped my mind around the fact that I was going to have to call a lot of different companies and I was also going to have to save and get a decent sized loan because well I don't have much money because we are on a fixed income. I had gotten a few estemates from different companies, but I almost had a heart attack when I saw how much those companies wanted for the just the fencing. Then I had a neighbor give me a card for this company owned by a young man named James. I called and set up a time for James to come out to give a estimate for just the fence because I had assumed that was all they did but I started talking to this young man and ended up discussing my husband's condition and everything that needed to be done. He told me that their company did a lot more than just fence and could do everything we needed I was completely stunned that their company did all these different things. Then I thought to myself just wait because its going to cost a arm and leg. So I let him do what he needed so we could get the estimate that I was sure was going to bring me one step closer to that heart attack. When he brought me the estimate. I was completely surprised when I saw the amount. For the price of the most expensive estimate I had received from the other companies I was able to get the fence, the cleaning, and the garage turned in to our bedroom so needless to say I hired them on the spot to do the whole house it took the crew 8 days to finish everything. On the last day I was gone for half the day so when they arrived to finish I was not there. I returned home around 1pm and I was shocked to see that the lawn had been mowed and trimmed because that was not included in the estimate and my husband was sitting in his wheelchair on the front porch with this young man James talking to him as if they had known each other for a long time. which is very unusual because my husband does not get along with very many people. Its even hard for me to get along with him sometimes let alone a complete stranger. so I asked my husband why he was outside and he told me "well all of his guys started leaving so I asked James if he would mind staying behind so he could walk me around and show me everything they had done to the house." I then asked James if my husband had asked him to add in anything because I wanted to make sure that he got paid for all of the beautiful work he did. He would not accept payment for any of the landscaping he did. It wasn't till later that I realized James even mowed the backyard and cleaned the gutters. so I decided to hire them to come out to do it on a regular basis this was 4 months ago. Now every other week he comes to check up on us and mow the yard. it wasn't until this last time that he showed what he wanted his company to stand for. James showed up like usual I took my husband out to the front so he could get some outside time and talk to James while he mowed and did what he had to do after about 2 hours James had to leave so I brought my husband in side and he said something strange he said "well I guess its been long enough." He then asked for me to go get his slippers when I handed them to him he reached in and pulled out a whole bunch of money. I was in complete disbelief at the amount of money he just handed me. I asked him where he got it he told me that when him and James were talking it had came up that we had to get a loan for the work we needed done to the house and the next time he came back he gave me the money so you could pay off the loan. then he said the money you give James for mowing well as soon as you go inside he hands it right back to me, and instantly I started to cry. God sent us such a blessing not only did we get a beautiful home, but my husband has someone he enjoys talking to. I don't think you will find a company with better values, honesty, or more caring than this company. I can honestly say I will never hire another company for anything ever again.Thank you for everything James. Sincerely, Edith & Leanord
David replaced two ceiling fans in my den and two lights on my front porch. He even disposed of the old fans and lights for me. His fee was within my budget and he did a great job. I'll be using him in the future.
I had Rodriguez Handyman remove a shade and swing structure in our front yard, which involved 2 men removing metal posts sunk in a small concrete patio, and the roof they supported. (It was about the size of a bus stop, but used to support a porch swing.) One man came to the house to do an estimate, then when I hired them, two men arrived promptly, did the task quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up the area very nicely. I am already talking to them about additional small jobs, based on this great experience. Their bid was in the middle of the 4 estimates I got, not the highest and not the lowest.
