FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep my pricing as simple as possible. I can only go by what I am told by the customer before I see the project. Each job is different and of course I try to cover my travel time and expenses. I try to look at this as if I need help and did not have the tools or the knowledge to do it. I would not want to pay more than I have to.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a maintenance technician by trade and have been for years. I try to stay abreast of all the new technology and tools for my craft at all times.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I do this as a part time venture to stay busy, gain a little additional income and help people that need it at a reasonable rate. I too have been in that position and had to pay top dollar for something that took 15 minutes. It does not feel good.
