I met Ms. Maryann my first semester at Palo Alto College. She was of absolute great help when it came to tutoring me in chemistry and anatomy and physiology I & II, as well as in English. She was extremely kind, put forth all of her effort, and was definitely an asset contributing to my success at Palo Alto College. She provided me with the perfect balance when it came to her assistance vs my own knowledge; which taught me to dive deeper into my thinking process. Not only was she helpful with my class work, but she also did her best to guide me in the direction I wanted to take my future; proving me with a ton of helpful advice reguarding continuing education. Ms. Maryann has done an excellent job at helping me succeed, and is a great and very intelligent tutor-I would recommend her to anyone.
They start on the 30th which is Monday,so I can't rate their work or progress as of yet. However, they responded to my text promptly and they were very professional. They seemed to really care about what i needed and wanted for my grandchildren progress. Im very pleased right now and looking forward to the experience.
Perhaps the greatest challenge to any immigrant entering the United States is to learn English. It certainly was for me. When I first touched U.S. soils, I was just a fifteen year old Vietnamese girl who didn’t know a single English word. Since I couldn’t properly communicate with people, I felt lonely and afraid that I won’t be able to make any friends at Holmes High School. However, Mr. Keenum changed that for me. As an ESL teacher, he taught me the basics of English with the help of Rosetta Stone. With great patience and dedication, Mr. Keenum paved the path toward my mastery of English. I write this not just as a review, but also as a formal expression of gratitude. To whom it may concern, please do not doubt Mr. Keenum’s ability to teach.

“You have helped our son tremendously with his self-esteem and attitude, both of which have greatly improved. You're very patient and you really know how to work with children. You made us a believer that education doesn't end at school! We are very grateful for your commitment and passion in teaching our son.” — Rene and Lillian P.
