Introduction: I am a San Marcos family law attorney serving Hays county and surrounding counties. Since 1993, I have practiced in courts across Texas, with a focus on family law cases like child custody, divorce, adoption, and child support. I am a former Child Support Division assistant attorney general, having served Bexar County as well as nearby counties, and a former Texas House of Representatives committee counsel. My office is at 115 Camaron in San Antonio, across from City Hall and 2 blocks from the Bexar County Courthouse and I also have an office at 604 W. Hopkins in San Marcos. I practice primarily in Bexar County, Comal County , and Hays County, serving Caldwell County, Atascosa County, Gonzales County, Guadalupe County, Medina County, Kendall County, and Wilson County as well. I am experienced in resolving all kinds of family law cases through settlement, mediation, and trial, and have also acquired training in collaborative law. I've managed thousands of cases that range from bench trials in Justice of the Peace and municipal courts, to jury trials in County and District Courts, to oral argument and appellate briefs before the Courts of Appeals.
