After a failed attempt with another contractor my friend recommended Thumb Tack. I filled out the info and once I submitted my job I was almost immediately contacted by Chris. The professionalism immediately put me at ease. I told him about my contractor who pretty much vanished after starting the project. Chris gave me the peace of mind that I so desperately needed as I needed to get the tub in our rental patched and refinished. Chris and his assistant crushed it!!! The tub looks great and they were super easy to work with! Highly recommend!

The company was amazing to work with. They came and refinished our bathroom wall tile and bathtub. We had an issue with pulling tape off which caused the refinish to come off but they came out and fixed the issue for us.

We had Family Refinishers re-glaze my Mom's old bathtub & the quote, scheduling & entire process was quick and efficient. Jim arrived towards the end of the arrival window & was very professional and friendly. A few days afterwords we noticed a few paint runners on the tub and reached back out to see if they'd come back out to fix it up. They made scheduling a "repair" easy & even though they didn't arrive on the day we agreed on, after reaching out again they apologized & made sure to come out the following day for the repair. Overall we're very pleased with how the tub turned out. (Way better than if we had tried to do it ourselves!) They have a system down that minimizes the strong odors and mess that often comes along with re-glazing. Their price was cheaper than most in our area & I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Family Refinishers did a bang up job on our tub. We're getting our house ready to go on the market and getting the tub reglazed was one of the little jobs we needed. FR communicated well beforehand, and arrived on time to get the job done. Very pleased with the outcome-- and how it didn't take a huge chunk out of our budget. Job well done!

FAQs

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  Our prices vary from job to job and even month to month. Don't think we just change prices because it's the busy season, in fact we usually are running specials every month (maybe every other month). We do give a military discount because I am a disabled veteran. Call us to see what we have going on this month.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  We are a paperless company, because we are a small family owned company we need to keep some cost down. All estimates and invoices are emailed or texted to clients. Once job is completed they all sign their warranty either via PC with a PDF reader or in person on our phone/tablet.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  Because my work is a trade there is no education needed just a professional that knows how to train you on the job. I do however have a AA in web design and a bachelors degree in business management.
