I use top of the line Nikon digital SLR camera's and I love to take lots of pictures. My clients will receive all of their edited images on a flash drive or digital download in high resolution with a copyright release as part of the base price of the photoshoot. For indoor photoshoots such as headshots in my studio I always shoot the images to a laptop for easy viewing on a large monitor as the pictures are being taken. This allows for any adjustments or changes while the shoot is taking place rather than after the shoot and its too late. I have been photographing weddings for over 20 years. My style would be considered the fun/candid type with a little bit of traditional and artsy thrown in. The best part about my wedding package is that I DON'T HAVE A TIME LIMIT and you get all of the 600-800 edited pictures in chronological order on a flash drive or digital download in high resolution with a copyright release! I am a 2004 graduate of the NEW YORK INSTITUTE OF PHOTOGRAPHY. I'm very experienced and all of my clients will attest to the fact that I am very laid back and easy to work with, making them feel comfortable and putting them at ease. We had Doug as our wedding photographer, he did an amazing job, we love our pictures. If you want to capture every second of your wedding if it was a video Doug is your guy, he did not left any moment without a picture!!! He arrives before the event and leaves until the end, he’s amazing and having him during the entire event is amazing and peaceful knowing that he charges a rate for the entire wedding not like other photographers by the hour, so he will capture every second of it!!! Doug meet us on a Sunday afternoon in San Antonio. For about three hours he spent with us taking Anniversary pictures. Doug provided many suggestions for scenic pictures capturing the essence of our event. He also listened to our suggestions and desires with an open mind. The series of pictures were right on the money. He then adjusted a few of the pictures we selected to improve and enhance the picture. Doug was highly professional from the first time we contacted him through the photo shoot, to the final product. Both my with and I are very please and happy with the product he provide. I needed a headshot for my new job and Doug responded to my call immediately, and completed my headshot photo session at my requested time (and on a Friday afternoon!). Doug's professionalism and photography skills were very impressive. He knows what he's doing! I don't take very good pictures (I don't think so anyway) and Doug was able to capture so many different pictures and options for me to choose from. Besides Doug's amazing photography ability, he has a wonderful and calming demeanor and personality. I was nervous to do the headshot, but Doug made it easy and fun!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    For weddings I don't have a time limit. My basic wedding package is at flat $1,375. I don't do 4 hr, 6hr, 8hr packages. I DON'T HAVE A TIME LIMIT! Commercial jobs and Cooperate Events are $150/hr with a 2 hr. minimum unless the job is longer and then I will customize a price for the client.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Usually I start out getting an email from potential customers on Thumbtack. From that initial email I like to talk in person by phone to get more information and discuss the job. Depending on the type of job such as weddings or corporate events I then sometimes will meet with the client at a location convenient to them such as Starbucks, or in the case of corporate events, the actual venue where the event will be taking place.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    In 2004 I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography. I started my photography business in 2001 and have been doing it full-time since 2005.
