FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for creativity. Drawing and music was my childhood. I started my university courses with Architecture, then Fine Arts, then earned degrees in Graphic Design. No matter what I was doing, in school or work or play, creativity and communication was at the center of it. This isn't work; this is my calling.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A perfect designer has quality work, is priced right, works efficiently, and is easy to get along with. Good luck finding that designer. In the meantime, you should prioritize 2-3 of those factors. I'd always prioritize quality-of-work, unless the designer's a complete jerk. If you prioritize price, you WILL get work you won't be proud of. If you prioritize speed, be careful that you don't rush the designer out of a good solution to your problem. If you get along with your designer, how much will you forgive the other three factors? Again, good luck.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
This isn't something that anyone with a computer and pirated copy of Photoshop can do. If you stole Photoshop to make a logo, magazine or website, you're already using the wrong tool. Stop. A professional Graphic Designer knows the best tools, best practices, best methods of helping you communicate.
