Introduction: I have been told buy my customers, that they love how we don't come in and rush to get their service done. We take our time to make sure things are done to our OCD standards. I like seeing the sigh of relief on their demeanor that the cleaning is done and its 1 less thing in their busy schedule that you have to do.

My correspondence with Meriam was pleasant but confusing and she seemed disorganized from the start. We agreed on a price and scheduled an appointment for the next day. On the day of cleaning she arrived late, and being that I was out of town, I left the key under a rock for her to get in. She began cleaning the house at 5:30 in the evening and didn't even complete the job. She then left a note saying she couldn't find the funds I had left for her which by her request was cash and cash only, and also stated she would be taking the key to my house with her. Also, during the cleaning she called me multiple times asking if she could have items from my home. Now, she still has not completed my project, she has been contacting me asking for more money than we agreed on originally, I could not find the cash I left her for originally. On top of all of that, she still has not given the key to my home back to me. Although she was kind, and apologetic, my expectations have been severely let down and I am very disappointed with her services. Buyer Beware.

When I first received the quote from Merium to wash, fold and put away about 12 loads of laundry her profile had only 8 reviews. Despite receiving other quotes some more some cheaper I decided to go with Merium because her reviews seemed great. After having Merium come out to my residence I wish I had previously been able to read the additional reviews that have been posted since. Merium was unable to make our original appointment due to having a sick kid. Being a mother myself I was understanding and decided to give her another opportunity to help me when she asked if we could reschedule. I tried to be very flexible with the scheduling as did she because I knew that if Merium came out on a weeknight it would have to be in the evening when I got home from work. The first night Merium came she brought her teenage daughter who was very sweet and bubbly and they got right to work sorting and folding laundry. Given the amount of laundry that needed to be washed Merium and I agreed that time wise she would probably have to come back another day to complete the job. They did a really fantastic job folding the clothes and organizing my closet. I was really impressed at how well Merium separated and hung my clothing. I paid her in full in cash and we scheduled another day for her to come out. I even gave her and her daughter some clothing items that I had planned to donate. The second afternoon Merium came out we were both again very flexible with the scheduling, changing the time a few times due to both of our schedules and she arrived a little after 3pm. After a few hours of Merium working I noticed that the level of the clothing that were to be washed had not changed by much. Also, both days she had a black backpack with her schedule book in it which I thought . I went to check on Merium a few times (as she was working on clothing in my bedroom) because she had told me about a medical condition she had the first time she came and I found her in the bathroom each time. I had originally asked that she not use that bathroom for various reasons and told her that I would prefer that if she needed to use one she could use the one in the hall next to my room. I tried to be understanding though trying to be sensitive to the condition she told me about. Also, I ended up pulling some items out of the dryer myself and noticed that the load was extremely small. There definitely were more dirty clothing of the same type that could have been washed with it and when I brought the clothing in to Merium I commented on how tiny the load was. The amount of laundry that was left could have definitely been taken care of in the 4 hours Merium had spent at my home so when I saw that she was washing at such a slow rate I decided it was not going to work out. Also, I noticed several times Merium came into the living room and zipped and unzipped her backpack. While I didn’t physically see her take any items out of my home I did notice some items were missing from my bathroom. At this point I made up an excuse to get Merium out of my home. It is unfortunate that I had to write this review because although the job was not finished the things that were taken care of were done extremely well. Again, I wish I had seen the March 1st review on Merium’s cleaning service prior to hiring her because I definitely would not have invited her into the safety and security of my and my young child’s home. I’m not sure how well thumbtack screens companies but I plan to check into it before using this service again. Merium explained some of her struggles with me and she came off initially as very genuine and warm. That however doesn’t explain or excuse the fact that the job she was hired to do was not completed, even though she had plenty of time the second day and received payment in full up front. It certainly doesn’t explain why items were missing from my home after she left. I second the March 1st reviewer’s warning. BUYER BEWARE!

Tasha, I have tried to contact you on several occasions but with no response to resolve your complaints. I was trying to let you know the reson I used the second restroom was because of the conversation we had about only using the first restroom to go #1 in because it over flows. The 3 things I touched in your restroom was the pledge all purpose cleaner and a towel to clean the toilet set and the TP paper. Regarding my bag, I left it in the living room with you and open. You could have checked it at anytime if you had a concern. I got in my bag to get my water and my meds the second time. I told you when you said another cleaner you had stole from you, I am very much a Christian and to steal is sin, I have no need to go against my faith. Lastly, the small load your speaking of was the last of 1 of the piles. I did wash it with the rest of the load cause it can mess up your washer over loading it. I'm truly sorry you were in happy with my services. I wish you would have talked to me about it. I wish you all the best. God Bless

I found Meriam through Thumbtack. She is very prompt. Always makes sure to please me as her client. Very patient and understanding. Meriam has taken on a huge task cleaning my home. She is always professional and has been willing to make herself available to fit my schedule. She does a fantastic job and always asks if there's anything else that I need before she leaves. I strongly recommend hiring her.

    Most customers I have serviced mostly get bi weekly or monthly surface cleaning. then we also have our 1 time deep cleans mostly for move outs and move ins.

    Think about the service of can get and always give someone at least 1 chance to show you what they are worth and how they can help

    I wish customers knew that smaller companies give you the more personable, carefully beautifully done service.
