FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Moves that are not "local" (generally less than 50 miles) are required by law to be priced according to their filed rates or tarriff. These rates are filed with the state and are in place in order to prevent a company from overcharging a customer. There are many options involved in moving and we do our very best to put all of those options on the table with prices so that there are no surprised when it comes time add up charges.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with an email or phone call. Once we have the basic information for the move we can provide a written proposal. For larger moves we do offer a free in home estimate that will allow us to guarantee a set price instead of an hourly rate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In order to stay up on the latest developments in our field we are members of the American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA). Through our membership with AMSA and our certification with the Department of Defense we a stay on top of news related to our industry.
