Packing and Unpacking
DaLonna is a gem! She is a real pro at packing and purging. Focused, organized, a whirl-wind worker, and a lot of fun to be with. She was born to organize. DaLonna made me realize I was trying to keep stuff I didn’t need. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?When I first started Organized by Design, I charged $50/hour with a minimum of 3 hours. Now that I’m back from my hiatus, I’m starting much lower, not because I don’t know how to organize anymore, but rather because it’s what feels comfortable to me. I still have a 3-hour minimum because it’s hard to get much done in less time than that. Please note: there may be times when I have to charge a fee for travel, depending on your distance from me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We have a phone consultation where I’ll be able to determine if you are TRULY ready to institute and maintain some new processes and habits. If you’re not ready, I would discourage you from spending money until you are. It’s rare that this happens, but it does. I just don’t want someone to get organized and not be able to maintain. There’s nothing good about that for either of us.
