- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Regularly Scheduled dog walking: $20 per walk for standard area Pet Sitting Visits: $20 per visit for standard 20 minute visit Extended Pet Sitting Visits: $30 per extended time visit 40 minutes Overnight Care: $65 per night
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once you decide to book with HHPS, the first thing we do is E-mail you a link to our online customer information form. This form will allow you to provide specific instructions on how many visits you need, your preferred time for visits, what tasks you would like done during your visit as well as detailed pet information like feeding instructions, whether or not they get a walk, what kind of toys/games they like, etc. Once this form is filled out and submitted, your requested dates will be scheduled and your space saved. Then, we will contact you to set up your free consultation. This meeting is usually done with the owner and your primary pet sitter. Sometimes the owner is the primary pet sitter, in which case it would be just her or possibly her and the secondary sitter, depending on availability. Before you leave for your first trip (or before your dog walking service begins), you will also be sent an activation E-mail to sign up for our client portal. This portal is where you go to schedule services, pay your invoices, and get updates on your pets. Each time your sitter visits your home, they will submit a photo and an update. These updates will be E-mailed to you or can be accessed through the customer portal. You can also write messages to your sitter from the customer portal if you have special instructions or last minute changes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?HHPS has been in business since 2012, so we have a great deal of experience with a wide range of pets. All of our sitters are also pet first aid and CPR certified and are insured, bonded, and background checked.
