I did a lot of research and visited three types of gyms to find the right fit for my exercise and nutrition needs. I'm very pleased with the results I've had working with Patty as my trainer for the past 3 months. I really like the variety of cardio and strength training of each session and she continues to challenge me to increase intensity and endurance. And, the TaiChi/Yoga Fusion class is awesome! Patty and I are the same age, so I appreciate that she can relate to me as a woman, a driven career oriented person and a mom. We had an awesome session with Katie at the Bachelorette party we threw in Austin! The bride had wanted a fun yoga class one morning and Katie was the perfect fit! We had a very relaxing (yet, sweaty) morning workout by the pool. Jamie teaches yoga from her heart and soul. She has a genuine personality and is able to create classes that are accessible for all yogis despite their yoga experiences. Her cues and sequencing give me the space to feel safe and her themes and life lessons in the class always help me feel a little bit better about my life. I first connected with Rou last August at her Kemetic Yoga class in Mueller Park. I was impressed by her enthusiasm and focus on the mat, which as I would later find out, translates to her focus off the mat as well. She is a true leader - a very rare jewel - and I'm glad I know her.

Emily combines contemporary dance flow with yoga in her classes. It really loosens those tight spots, and especially helped with my back. After a week of sitting over work at your job, your back really gets out wack. She puts a lot of thought into the meditation at the end of the class. She also helps you understand more about each pose that you can't really get in other classes. I highly recommend you try her class!
Absolutely love Marjorie Montufar's variety of yoga classes - Hatha, Vinyasa, and Meditation practice. Marjorie's experience shines through her intuitive yoga instructions. She takes time to assess the needs of her students prior to starting classes. She offers comforting guidance for all stages of my yoga practice, including proper yoga positions, alternative positions to avoid injury, breathing techniques, meditation. Most importantly, as an instructor she encourages learning to listen to your physical limitations while still stretching your mind and body to find balance in your life. I have been attending classes under Marjorie for 6 months now, each class I leave feeling more relaxed and centered, knowing I have accomplished so much in so little time.
I was blessed to be able to receive an hour long Reiki session with Messina. Firstly, she was extremely personable, professional, and punctual. There was a small informal intake between us before she began the session. This was nice because this was my first experience with a Reiki & Chios practitioner. Her gifts are genuine. I truly believe that she is an open channel that Spirit uses. I highly recommend that you retain her services. I plan to have regular sessions, with her, on an monthly basis. My husband is now interested in having a Reiki session as well.

My past clients include both casual and competitive athletes (muscle flexibility and strength training), business professionals (stress and tension management), senior citizens (increased vitality, joint and muscle relief), and women during pregnancy. Some of the styles of yoga I specialize in are the following: * Vinyasa -- we flow with control and conscious breath, connecting the breath to each movement. * Hot -- this one incorporate poses from Bikram yoga and tackles every part of the body. Oh, and it gets real hot (more difficult for a home practice). * Restorative -- if you want to feel like you just got a massage, this is the class for you. We loosen our body's fascia tissue as we hold postures for 3-5 minutes in a calm, serene setting. I look forward to connecting!
