A trainer replied within 24hrs and scheduled an evaluation to go over goals. I couldn't be happier with the one-on-one attention that is personalized at WellFit. I am 47yo and had partial knee replacements on both knees in 2010. It was my fear that a total workout which obviously would include legs/knees may be painful and cause me to refrain from exercise. Just the opposite. The trainer took into consideration my knees and the fact that I truly haven't worked out my muscles in a gym in over 20 years. He created a program that has allowed me to ease into the routine with minimizing any pain. Since begininng 5 weeks ago I have lost over 15lbs and I'm sure toned up some muscle. Much of this is also attributed to changing my diet, which the team at WellFit also coaches you on. I can't say enough about Wellfit and the trainers.

Leslie has been amazing! In just a few short weeks she's helped me transform myself from the inside out. She listens to your needs unlike some of the other trainers I interviewed that just cared about adding someone else to their list of clients. For me, it's been a slow start due to multiple injuries that have slowed me down. However, Leslie helped me look at my diet first, make the necessary tweeks and set realistic weight loss expectations. FINALLY!!!! Somebody who gets me AND my body type. I have always had a struggle with my weight, and my thyroid problems did not make it any easier to lose/maintain weight loss. In September 2015, I did a search for personal trainers in the San Antonio area and found Tommy Lammers; Owner/personal trainer of Beast Fitness.. I mean, the name alone is worth a consult. When I went for my consult, I didn't know what to expect and this bearded guy with tattoos walks over to introduce himself... I'm thinking, "oh yeah, he's bad a**". I was so impressed with his professionalism and willingness to get to know the client. He does a comprehensive interview in order to assess your health and fitness goals and develops a nutrition and exercise plan specifically for YOU; because he understands that everyone is not the same. He really cares about his clients. I was so impressed that he took it upon himself to actually research my health condition so that he could develop the best plan for optimal results. Since training with Tommy, I have learned to let go of the scale, really look at myself and take note what I am actually accomplishing. I have worn clothes that I haven't worn in years, and some that I have NEVER been able to wear. The affect that he has had on my mental health is incredible---even says my mother and my brother---If you seriously want to make a lifestyle change and feel better than ever, he IS the one to call. Carl is a very professional trainer that cares about his clients . He take his workouts serious and will not ask you to do anything that he has not already attempted .

I have trained with Vicky with the last 1 1/2 years & have been very pleased with my results. I now fit into jeans I haven't worn in years! I feel stronger & my muscle tone has improved. There have been times when I have felt discouraged during my journey at weight loss, but she always encourages me not to give up & even runs alongside me to keep me motivated! Now that's what I call dedication to her clients! Vicky will tailor your workout according to your physical abilities, & will increase the complexity over time. She has always challenged me with a wide variety of exercises to focus on all my troubled areas. She is also a licensed nutritionist, so she always keeps track of my diet, & sends me ideas for nutritious meals. She demonstrated the benefits of strength training in a way that changed my outlook on fitness. Under her training, I lost all my post-pregnancy flab, strengthened my knees and became toned and fit. Coach Howard is an outstanding trainer. His energy feels the room and pumps me up to work out. He helped push me to my full ability and also reminded me about safety. After my sessions i felt accomplished and satisfied with my results/ achievements. Thanks to coach Howard, Pure Ambition was a great experience!
De'Von is a fantastic personal trainer. He knows how to make you work at the sweet spot of tougher than I would push myself but not so hard that you are out of your depth. He is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling and keeps me accountable on my meals as well. I have worked with several trainers over the years and De'Von is far and away the best.
Before I met Chris I worked with several trainers over the years. When I started working with Chris I could tell right away that I found a very unique trainer. The fitness regimen with advice and planning on diet started to show results right away. He clearly has a solid understanding of how to intelligently structure workouts for specific goals - it is not in any way the standard one workout for all. He takes the time to track progress and use that data to further refine the workouts. His methodology has clearly worked - at 38 years old I am now in the best shape of my life.
Richard is an excellent personal physical fitness trainer. I had a pulled muscle in my back and I needed to get into shape, so I could join my kids on our family ski vacation. I was telling this to a friend of mine (who I noticed was looking slimmer!) and she told me that she was working with Richard and gave me his info. When I first started with Richard, I could hardly do anything, but by the time I got to the slopes. I dominated! I had the best time! I totally believe that his attention to details, his personally designed work out for me, and his positive attitude, was the key to getting me back in shape and working out my back problems. I completely recommend Richard as a personal trainer.
Dave has been my trainer for over six months now and has changed my body for the best! Not only have I lost 20lbs, but I also put on a bunch of muscle and look better than I did ten years ago! Dave will push you, but not past your capabilities. I really look forward to my sessions, because not only do they make me stronger, but I enjoy talking to Dave about nerdy movies and Shows.

David pushed me in a positive, encouraging way; he had the answers to every fitness/nutrition question I could think of, he even had fresh bananas on hand for after the workout! I’ve had Andrew as a trainer for about 4 months now. Since I started working out with him, I’ve lost so far 35 pounds. My body fat has decreased. I’ve lost inches off my arms, waist, and thighs, and have gone down 2 dress sizes. Also, my nutrition has drastically improved thanks to his guidance. I have a lot more energy now and my stress levels have definitely gone down. My family, friends, co-workers have all commented on how great I look and I have even inspire my siblings to start working out and eat healthy. What I like about Andrew as a trainer is that he is very professional, knowledgeable, committed, and genuinely cares about his clients. I love how he always changes the workouts so they never become repetitive and I always feel challenge. Also, he takes the time when teaching new exercises and always makes sure to correct my technique to avoid injuries. Even when I travel, he sends me workouts and is always one call or txt away when ever I have any fitness/nutrition related questions. Over the course of this time, it’s been amazing to see how my body has transformed and become healthier. I originally met Jen as a gym member. Her work ethic, enthusiasm, and results inspired other members to the point of scheduling their classes when they knew she would be there.
