Kylah offers a very comfortable environment which is important for nervous people like myself. She was able to plan out our goals, was very flexible with listening to bands I wanted to sing along with for practice, and described how the body is effected when you sing a certain way or how your voice will sound when you do certain things to your body. That extra knowledge is vital if you want to learn to stay healthy and perform strong. Overall, the lesson went very well and we plan to meet again a week from now. Thanks Kylah!
We had Ross play for our wedding. It couldn't have gone any better. He played his fiddle and his guitar along with the professional music he put together. So well done Ross! We are definitely spreading the word!
Robert is a supremely talented musician. He played at our wedding, traveling across the country and was still able to find local musicians to accompany him for the day. Our guests spoke so highly of the music and we would recommend Robert for any event.
We hired Taylor to perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. For a little context, the ceremony and reception were out of doors, the ceremony involved playing church music while a cantor-led congregation sang, and the cocktail hour involved another outdoor spot and a shift to jazz. Taylor did a wonderful job as the pianist for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was extremely responsive, punctual and professional--and I cannot stress enough how grateful we were for his flexibility as well. There are always going to be little surprises when planning or hosting an event and it was such a pleasure to work with a pro who could adapt and carry on throughout!
I took guitar lessons with Tim a couple years ago before he moved away. I knew his skill and talent from his previous work in bands and it was a no-brainer for me to go to him. His ability to assess where you are at as a student and apply the proper curriculum to help advance you in your craft is what you would expect from a quality teacher such as Tim. If you're looking to open your creativity, you can't go wrong seeking guidance with him. He's got my recommendation 🖒👍
First and foremost, Aaron was amazing. Sure, this was my first, hopefully only, wedding where I needed to hire a DJ but I am so grateful I got it right. Aaron was easy to speak to before the event as far as planning our day with him. He was able to obtain songs that were maybe a little more eclectic than average wedding songs. He was with us every step of the way. On the day of the event he arrived promptly and set-up quickly. During the event he worked with myself and the maid of honor to make sure every event went on either on time or pushed it back if we needed to. When he spoke to the crowd, he commanded the room. He is an all around great guy who provided us a perfect DJ experience that fit our style/taste. Do yourself a favor and hire Aaron.
We hired Jake to play for our wedding ceremony, and he did a fantastic job! He was easy to communicate with, totally willing to use whatever songs we neeeded, and on our wedding day, absolutely perfect. He’s very talented and we were lucky to work with him!
Carlos and his band made our event really (anniversary) special. Carlos called us to find out all the details and order of the event and his music was fantastic. But, he really went above and beyond. When it was time for a couple of our dearest friends to wish us a happy anniversary, he even helped us with the microphones so their toasts could be heard well by all the guests. Our guests really loved the music, and especially the variety they played. Thank you Carlos and band. You guys were amazing.
We had a great experience working with Live Oak Trio! They made made our special day complete. I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle without their beautiful interpretation of the songs we so carefully put together for our wedding. Truly talented professionals!
Mr. Del Bosque was a very good teacher for the three years I had him as my private lessons teacher. He will teach you all you need to know to be a successful saxophonist. He will teach you the fundementals like scales, tonal excerises, arpeggios, etc. When I was in middle school, I made the TMEA All Region Band with his critique and help. But I feel that Mr. Del Bosque could've taught at a faster pace because the pace felt slow to me, but that's just my preference. It really depends on the person. Overall, Mr. Del Bosque was a great teacher and will be perfect for anyone who's looking to start to play the saxophone or already has been playing, but is looking for professional help.
I'm Sherah, the writer and lead singer for The Fine Souls. My smokey, jazz-inflected vocal croons against a backdrop of guitar, upright bass and jazz drum kit. I specialize in writing beautiful, danceable love songs, and I write from a wide range of Roots genres: folk, vocal and Louisiana jazz, blues, soul, pop and early R&B, so the music never gets boring or repetitious. My melodies are memorable, and the lyrics are vivid, poetic, and romantic, reflecting all the various moods of love. I've even written a song about a couple who's watching the sunset, enjoying the memories of their wedding earlier in the day! We play primarily our own love songs, but we will also learn and play up to 8 of your choice of cover songs, especially if you have particular songs in mind for the first dance, the garter and bouquet toss, or other special moments. Bonus item: For an additional fee, I will write a song for you that's based on your personal love story, and we will record it as a single to give to your guests. We'll also perform this song as the first dance! My musicians are among the very best that Austin has to offer, and we have been or are currently a part of other touring bands. We have performed at various wine bars, coffee shops and restaurants around town, as well as at the Hyatt, the Austin airport on the Ray Benson Stage, and at the Continental Club Gallery. Please visit my Facebook page Sherah & The Fine Souls to see what we're up to!
Matthew was the musician for our wedding at Driftwood Wine Vineyard. He was the perfect match for an outdoor setting. I found him online and loved his sound. He came to our house and played a few songs and we were amazed by his talent. He also learned several songs we wanted him to play including our first dance song.

I run a variety dance band called The Sophisticates based in Austin, TX. Philip and his techs from Head Water have provided consistent, professional service for every gig we've had the last two years. I have dealt with many sound technicians in my 30 years in this business, believe me when I say Philip Ramirez is a rising star in this industry!
