Introduction: Manny’s Uptown Tex-Mex Restaurante was founded by Manuel “Manny” Rios in 2005 in the uptown area of Dallas, Texas. Manny is a retired Army veteran. He started his interest in the restaurant business with his sister as a server. After learning the restaurant business, Manny decided it was time to follow his dream of opening his own Tex-Mex Restaurant, with traditional family recipes. Manny was inspired by his chef father, Charlie Rios. Here at Manny's we try to give our customers the best quality in TEX-MEX food, and strive for the best in customer service.

I chose Manny's to cater a birthday party and the food was delicious! Guests raved about the food and went back for seconds! I especially appreciated that Manny's was willing to work with me to customize a catering menu that fit our needs. The margarita machine was also a BIG hit! Can't wait to host another party so I can book Manny's catering again!

Manny's catered my birthday party and the overall experience was amazing! Very responsive and professional. They were able to work with me on my budget and ensure I got all my must-have items for guests at a reasonable cost! Will most definitely use them again in the future!

The food is amazing! PLUS, the attentive service, the fun atmosphere, the awesome bar, the large menu, the family recipes! Wish I could eat there every week!

We're super flexible. Tex-mex is one of the most affordable foods available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to sit down with them if possible and discuss our many options available to them to get a feel of what they want for their specific event. Then I like to see how I can go above and beyond to make them happy.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of industry experience including just about every position from front of house to back of house to out of house!
