FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Hypnotists are not licensed in the State of Texas, so insurance will typically not cover this type of life coaching and healing. We often offer discounts for prepayment of one or more sessions. See the Appointments page on our web site for more details on discounts. Hypnotherapy is not magic, so while some smokers leave our office after the first session and never smoke again, we generally suggest planning on about 3 sessions in order to get maximum results.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the things that are preventing the client from being successful in particular areas, and then we use hypnosis to realign the subconscious with the conscious mind, using any number of powerful techniques that have been proven over decades.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our hypnotists are trained and certified in pain management, reduction in anxieties of all kinds, including pre-surgical and pre-dental procedure anxiety, depression, bad habit elimination, and all the other things hypnotherapists do on a daily basis. Our methods of life coaching involve working directly with your subconscious mind, which is THE most effective way of effecting change quickly and permanently. Dave has a Certified Master Trainer certification, which means training new hypnotists as well as helping clients. We are constantly studying the latest literature and advances in the art and science of hypnosis. We have attended classes with some of the modern greats of hypnotherapy, including Richard Nongard, Mike Mandel, Melissa Tiers, Al Ward, Roy Hunter, Larry Elman, Igor Ledochowski, George Bien, David Snyder, and many others.
