I've never had a personal trainer before so I wasn't sure what to expect. From the get go, Tad was super easy to get along with. He definitely makes you work hard but will listen to you and your body i.e. keeps your joints happy while toning muscle. For me, my abs are a trouble spot but he's taught me how to engage them in and out of the gym. The workouts are always a little different and always keep me in engaged. And I appreciate how he explains the exercises and really takes the time to make you understand how to do it and why you are doing it. Tad is also really invested in his clients. He's always checking in, seeing how I'm feeling after workouts, giving me suggestions on nutrition, and holds me accountsble, etc. He's fully devoted to you and your goals! Deepika M.
Shelby was amazing - she has a positive attitude and challenged me just the right amount. She was always on time and has a super easy app to schedule or cancel appointments. The gym is private and I felt comfortable training with her alone. I lost inches off my waist (and my behind) after 60 days. She also took before/after pics, measurements and sent me healthy meal ideas and follow-up instructions on workouts by myself. I highly recommend her. She is an amazing trainer and person!
I've been working out with Jonas for several months now and have really enjoyed it. Prior to this, I'd just done cardio and never really seen my body change much except for dieting. Obviously dieting is still important, but the training I'm getting has really firmed me up and made me look better than diet alone can. As a beginner at weights, Jonas was great at not pushing me so hard I was scared off, but still challenges me months later. He's always been professional and works with me to make sure our appointment times work.
Marlon has been great! He gives you all the tools you need to reach your goal. He's not going to harp on you for not sticking to a nutrition plan, but that's because he knows it's ultimately your choice in what you want out of it. He gives you information to help you start choosing healthier options even if you know absolutely nothing about nutrition (which was the case with me). Very well priced for what you get. I saw results within the first week by buying into his nutrition plan and it was more than enough to motivate me to stick with it. I went from feeling tired and groggy by the end of the work day to having energy all day--within 2 days. A big part of that was Marlon's advice about how to nourish myself so that the hard work I do in the gym continues after I leave. His at work out plans for the days you don't meet are easy to do anywhere if you don't have access to a gym and they'll make you sweat! On top of a great trainer, he's a fun person to be around. It's almost too easy to get up for a 6am workout knowing he'll have me laughing and sets me up for a good day! I did sports in high school but college and the work life took its toll on me. Marlon was able to get me back to how I used to feel. If you're looking for a trainer, he's the one you want.
I love my sessions with Tamika. She's motivating, funny, enthusiastic and, my workouts are always great and never boring. I highly recommend her to anyone that is needing to improve their health and overall fitness. Thanks Tamika! :-)
I loved loved LOVED working with Bridgette -:within two weeks I started seeing results in how my clothes fit, improved strength and cardiovascular fitness, and my nutrition and mood. She kept the workouts varied so I didn't get bored and made them fun. So great! Unfortunately I had to move away because of a new job, but she still keeps in touch with me to check on my progress. I HIGHLY reccomend this awesome chica :-)
Before the arthritis got so bad in my hip I was in Melissa's pilates class at the Watauga rec center. I am not as flexible as most of the others in the class, but she never criticized or made me feel uncomfortable in the class and encouraged me to keep going. You will enjoy her class and know you have had a great workout at the end of it.
Jeff is a wonderful person as well as a top-notch professional. Jeffs workouts are intense. You will feel results, you will see results and others will see the results too. Jeff will be there to motivate you, not only by working out, but by contacting you on a day to day basis and by keeping you on healthy diet plan as well. He will definitely give you the push you need to keep going! As far as personal training goes, Jeff is on top of everything. If you want to train with a genuinely awesome person who is invested in reaching your personal goals, train with Jeff. You WILL get results and you will NOT regret it.
David is helping me get fit at Fit For Life (City View). We have been working together for the past 8 months. So far, I have lost weight, gained muscle and firmed up. But, the most important thing, as a young woman in her 70s, is that I am full of energy now! While personal training with David twice a week for weight training and cardio activity, I have strengthened my arms and my legs, as well as my core. David takes his job very seriously, he is always on time and very efficient. He takes the time to explain to me the importance of proper technique and form. What I like the best about David, is that he keeps the sequence of activities different each time. We do a variety of training with various equipment and I dont get bored with the routines.
Coach Moody is one of my favorite coaches! I get excited every time he is teaching my CrossFit class, I know it is going to be fun and that he will push me to go harder, and he believes in me. He is also very patient when I struggle with a movement, he truly cares about helping me get it down and seems genuinely excited when I finally do. Thanks for being an awesome coach Moody!!
