I was very pleased with the photos Ken took for my daughter's graduation. Ken listened to what we wanted and imagined and made beautiful, professional images. I especially like that he used variety and unique settings for the backdrop. So well done that I sent my other daughter to Ken for family portraits.

We were lucky enough to book Ken Murray for my son's wedding. If you recall how nervous a bride can be, then you know how things can go. Ken was incredible at taking photos from beginning to end with wonderful results which will create a lifetime of memories. And as for the bride, she was beautiful!!

Ken Murray is a great photographer! He was our wedding photographer and we were so happy with his work. My parents constantly tell me we got the most touching pictures, and my husband and I agree!

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Immediately read the Photographer's profile and look through his/her portfolio. Look at the number of times they've been hired and the resulting reviews posted in their Thumbtack profile. Look at samples of the work done, check out their website and use that as a basis for comparison. Clarify any questions you may have regarding their bid to ensure you're comparing apples to apples.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Pro photography is a lot more involved than clicking the shutter release, downloading the picture, and printing/emailing the image to the customer. I normally spend as much time in post-production as I do at the photo shoot itself. So, it's a misnomer when a client requests a bid for a 2-hr photo shoot .. in essence, that's four hours of work to complete the project.
