Had the best experience getting singing lessons here. I have previously had years of lessons and mostly felt that I would never be a "singer" but wanted to keep my skills up to give me an edge when it came to other facets of performing arts. After going to Dr. Zachary Bruton Voice Studios for little more than a month my entire opinion on my own voice had changed (as well as learning technique that actually improved my sound) I had gained the confidence to see myself as someone who could be eligible for stand alone singing work. This has come to fruition and I will now continue to pursue the improvement of my voice as well as the kinds of sounds I never believed I could achieve. I would 100% recommend these lesson to anyone who is considering lessons at any level as he really takes the time to see what your personal needs are as opposed to just following some set out syllabus that may or may not work for you. If I return to the Houston area he will be my first point of call. 10/10.

John is patient. He is extremely talented and a knowledgable teacher. I know nothing about singing, but after two lessons, I am already improving and gaining confidence. The lessons are lots of fun. I would recommend John to anyone.

Ben really listens to what I want to achieve with vocal lessons, and he was very open to helping me eve though I had never had a vocal lesson before. He has the improvement of his students' voices as a priority and worked with me to get the maximum out of my lessons on a limited graduate student budget. He's been a great teacher and my voice has definitely improved!

She has shown me great enthusiasm and patience, which is a relief since I’ve never had lessons before. Judith is really passionate about what she does, and you can tell by how she teaches.

Mike is an amazing instructor!!! His skills and aptitude are very polished and strong. As a voice coach he can actually sing how he teaches. His piano skills are on point his grand piano sounds outstanding. Mike plays pop music to Mozart and he actually plays piano and sings Italian opera at the same time which lends itself a much richer learning and real world experience. If your learning voice or piano or both from Mike you stand to acquire most of the skills necessary that create an accomplished musician and successful performer!!! Don't miss out Houston you have an amazing instructor in your own backyard....

Laura was an excellent teacher - very helpful in teaching me breathing technique and how to apply phonemic knowledge to singing. She taught me how to pronounce things better and how to project and sustain sound. She was very good about making me comfortable, while still testing my limits so that I grew as a singer. Her use of metaphor in instruction helped me to visualize my singing; her coaching helped me to better determine my goals. I would definitely recommend Laura to anyone looking for a supportive and knowledgeable voice teacher! I certainly would return to her for further instruction in the future!

Lessons With Austin has been an awesome experience for my 15 year old son who plays the drums and has been there for about a year and a half. We were looking for inexpensive drum lessons since we weren't sure if he would stick with them and LWA provides the only group lesson setting we could find for drummers which makes the lessons more affordable. Once my son got serious about drumming we switched to private lessons. Sayer is an excellent teacher and my son, who can be a bit quirky and sometimes the quiet type, really relates to him. In addition there is a recital two times per year and it is a fun recital to attend because they are allowed to pick out their own songs for the most part and often it is popular or rock music that is fun to listen to. Not excruciating to sit through as my son's piano recitals sometimes were. Overall the teaching is quality and they always use positive feedback and my son feels like they "get" him which keeps him motivated and he has become a good little drummer! Every now and then there are some organizational issues, but I think that is just the result of them growing really fast and this seems to be improving as time goes on.

I was reluctant at first to jump into singing lessons for my seven-year old because of her age. I was afraid she would lose interest or not be able to keep her attention span. I am SO GLAD I decided to sign her up with Cindy, though. Cindy is FUN. Kids just LOVE her. She makes the lesson fun, but never wavers on keeping my child focused and on track and her teaching style is awesome. My little girl went from what I thought was "so cute" and "so great" (as a parent, I admit I AM biased), to BEYOND really GOOD. My daughter really shines now! I was shocked at how quickly she improved. She went from what "mommy and daddy" thought was "cute and great" to REALLY knowing how to sing! My daughter can REALLY sing now. And she loves Cindy to pieces. She's just a great teacher who really knows how to work with her students. We love her!

I'm a student at this amazing vocal studio. Alida Bonifaz, quite talented herself, has tailored my lessons to match my potential. That my expectations are surpassed is an understatement. Ms. Bonifaz is engaged and prepared each week to challenge me to improve, and her technique is working. I must admit I didn't realize the multitude of components involved in vocal training, but I'm getting it! The studio itself is inviting and modern, enhancing the learning experience. I'm a working professional in Houston, and the studio is centrally located and easy to find. If you want to sing, take my advice and check this place out.

I've been getting vocal lessons from lady Grace for about 5 years now. When I first started singing I was extremely nervous, but lady Grace help me through that. I have improved so much attending her classes, and look forward to each session. I am currently attending group sessions and enjoy those tremendously. She has really been a blessing to me and I would like to encourage anyone who is in need of vocal training to attend her classes. She is warm hearted, patient, and will work with you. I gave her 10 stars.

A great place to learn! I have my daughter enrolled in Piano lessons and she couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly and knowledgable; always giving thorough feedback on what to practice and I have never seen her teacher without a smile. The church is very clean and she really seems like she is having a lot of fun learning. I would recommend it to anyone interested in Piano Lessons, or really any lessons!

I took lessons with Deborah Boily for two years and I am a much stronger singer and performer because of her. She understands that musical theater requires more than just great technique and she will make sure that you not only sound great but can convey what your songs tell you. She also is really good at finding something that will help you get over any hesitations or issues regarding certain notes and songs. I highly recommend her if you are looking to become a well rounded performer.

I highly recommend James White for a voice and singing teacher. He is degreed in music/voice and an amazing experienced singer. He is very good with people and is a really remarkable person. Mr. James is very caring and puts a little (or a lot) humor into everything he does which creates a very relaxed atmosphere. Mr. James is more than just a voice coach. In addition to singing, he teaches, speaking, breathing, individual sounds, posture, ranges and so much more. Blessed to have him as our Voice coach and soon to be music teacher! ;-D I encourage you to contact Mr. James for your music, voice or speaking lessons as well as if you are in need of a musical or singing performer!

My 5 yr old daughter was initially shy but appeared to open up by the end of the lesson by singing her favorite song. I think Robbie did a good job considering she is rather stubborn and would rather focus more on just singing than on the technical aspects of how to improve one's voice. She is just 5 so we'll see how future lessons pan out.

Kady has a beautiful voice and works extremely well with children of all ages. Her love for singing shows, and she is very dedicated to providing quality lessons. I like the fact that she is able to fear the lessons to the individuality of the child and their needs.
