Melissa provided private violin lessons in our home to my 10 year old son who was just exploring music. He was clearly not a serious student and yet Melissa was very dedicated and encouraged him even at his level and lack of knowledge. Not only did she introduce him to music but also discipline and even helped me (his mom) with whether or not to rent or buy an instrument, where to go to get one etc. Although my son didn't stay with the violin for long, I hope he decides to return to it one day and I would not hesitate to contact Melissa again as his instructor!

While I was walking to Xin's front door for the first time, I heard Xin playing the violin so brilliantly from outside the house. I knew right away she was super talented. We first spoke on the phone about my unique request to have lessons and to also have someone perform alongside with me at an event. It was important for me to find someone that was flexible with timing and Xin was. In addition, she is very technical and offers very useful and beneficial tips on improving tone and timing. I highly recommend Xin as a top violin instructor.

I've known Liga for several years, and she is a very well trained music/violin teacher. Her method is very efficient and she is a very patient teacher, always positive and encouraging. She has a very nice and gentle approach with children, and they immediately bond with her. My 10 year old son adores working with her. She will be a teacher for your child, whom they will look forward to interacting. I highly recommend her not only for her musical expertise but also for her approach to establishing an effective teacher- student relationship, and instill the love of music in her students.

Cameron, I just wanted to send you a brief "thank you" and review for your masterful work at my Mother's funeral service last Saturday, June 5. You and your pianist were awesome, and the performances of "A Thousand Years" and "Amazing Grace" were perfect and fitting for the celebration of her life. Thank you for your professionalism, promptness and beautiful music. For those interested in hiring a talented musician, I highly recommend Cameron. He will not disappoint. Best, Toby

I've taken lessons from Mr. McMillan for around 5 years. He is a brilliant teacher for both violin and viola, and has helped me get into prestigious music programs as well as pursue a degree in music. Highly recommended teacher!

My husband and I could not be happier with the services provided by Violin Lessons by Irmalinda. Our six year old daughter Sofia loves the classes and is not only learning to play the violin, she is also learning discipline and responsibility. Irmalinda is an excellent instructor who truly has a passion for teaching. She offers the option of coming to our home which is very convenient given our very busy schedules. She is always very professional and timely and my daughter thoroughly enjoys and improves her skills with each class. We are very happy we found her.

About

The Vivace Violin School is located in the Greater Houston Area, TX (multiple locations) and offers private and group violin lessons using the Suzuki music talent education method. This method is based on the belief that every child is capable of developing musical ability and talent through talent education, and that it is not an inborn ability. Students from our studio are trained in both listening and music reading skills, and they demonstrate a large repertoire of memorized music. This kind of training develops a child's memorization, concentration and self-confidence along with having many other lifelong benefits. Our studio admits students starting at three years of age to adults. There is no pretest required for a child to be enrolled, however our space is limited, and a strong commitment from the parent is a must.

About

I teach intermediate to advanced violin and viola lessons for children, teenagers, and adults. I have over 6 years of teaching experience and look forward to helping you grow as a musician.

I taught piano, and I have been an accompanist for more than 28 years. I can teach basic violin as well, and I can play the organ. I also came from Europe. I speak three languages (Korean, English and German). I have been an acclaimed accompanist and pianist. I also was a conductor, and I do arrangements with scores. I gave uncountable recitals in Germany, Korea and USA. My goal is to give my students the opportunity to enjoy piano and to gain the knowledge of music. It will be a pleasure for me to give lessons for adults who dreamed to perform but were not able to fulfill their dreams and to teach students from age 5 and up.

I am extremely passionate about music and violin, and my enthusiasm is very contagious. I connect with my students easily and I make them think rather than just repeat what I say. I encourage them to not only look into notes and rhythms, but to feel the beauty and to communicate through music.
