Juan helped us with installation of ceiling fan and blinds, assembly of furniture (crib, kids' desk and chairs) and removal of old items from the attic. He was most professional in his service -- prompt and responsive prior to service, complete the job as promised and keep to the agreed price. He also takes a lot of care in his furniture assembly, which we appreciate.
The work he did for us was very extensive. It included removing the carpet on the whole top floor of our house, including the stairs. Then it was replaced with laminate, added new side boards, and brand new wooden stairs. The whole master bathroom was redone, took out the bathtub and flooring and redone with a full tile shower. We also needed an opening between two bedrooms to combine into a bigger master suite, which included having to open up a wall and install a new opening/door. Everything was done very neatly and beautiful. His work is excellent and very well done!
Victor A was amazing!! I recommend him to anyone looking for some one professional, understanding of what needs to be done, on time, quick and knowledgeable on every aspect of the situation. He came out to my home and took care of an issue I had with smoke removal from my car. We tried everything imaginable to take care of this problem. The order was masked when I purchased it for my mom and I was soo disappointed after finding that a simple cleaning would not do the job. Every where I checked wanted to charge a couple hundred of dollars as well as tacking on extras that should have been included in the price. Mr. Victor came out with a reasonable price as well as did a very thorough job in the cleaning and ridding of the odor. The interior looked and smelled like new! I am so thankful and happy for his service and will definitely use him again!!
Anderson did great work for us. He removed two old ceiling fans and installed two new ones, as well as new switches on the wall. He also replaced the light bulbs on our 20 foot ceiling. We were missing some of the hardware we needed, and he was very gracious and waited for us to run out and get what was needed. His pricing is very reasonable, he is courteous, and does good work.
Job went great, I had Willy remove 1200 sqft of tile, laminate, carpet and vinyl, then install new laminate flooring on the clean slab. The whole time Willy was easy to get ahold of, communicated with us about what was going on, and did an excellent job of installing the floors. We definitely recommend him and we'll definitely use him again in the future.
Excellent service and quality! Their quote came within $40 of all the other quotes so reasonable pricing. They originally said the job would take 3-4 days and they finished in 2 which I was very pleased with. Zero complaints. Friendly and communicated well. They removed tons of wallpaper, re-textured and painted the entire inside of my home. It's very pretty now!
Antonio did a great job patching the drywall on my ceilings! I had two holes to patch because I had to make previous upstairs plumbing repairs. He did one in my garage, and the other in my family room, which meant he had to match the popcorn ceilings. Overall, he did a fantastic job making it look like nothing ever happened. He was available right away, and showed up on time, and I felt the price was reasonable. I would hire him again if I ever needed to patch more drywall.
I hired Galveston Construction to remove both my neighbors' 6' privacy fences and my own 4' corral fence and replace them with one 6' pine privacy fence. They pulled out all of the old posts planted in concrete. They filled in all of the holes and erected a new fence using the latest construction tricks that I would have never thought of. They implimented a 2x6 Rot Board at the base with a 2x4 back creating a ledge to nail the slats into. The gates were framed in steel which he welded together, and included supports for additional strength. In addition to using only top grade lumber, the gate hardware is heavy duty and locks easily when closed. He custom fashioned the fence with great carpentry work around a few trees that were growing right on my property line. He was very careful to make sure that the neighbors were happy with the new construction. He even went as far as repairing the gate on the next door neighbor's fence that had been hanging in disrepair for years. What I got from Stan was a beautiful fence that will remain standing for years and years. Will I hire him again? I certainly will. His bid was his word. And written on a signed contract. No add-ons, no additional charges, no hassles, no bull shit. I never had a question as to what he was going to do at any time. A real pro.
Les worked for me on three occasions, each time for fairly extensive periods, averaging 2 - 3 months each time. Originally, I wanted to fix up our old place before selling it. The bathrooms were the main area of interest, and he suggested using tile for the lavatories which had originally been done in cultured marble that had yellowed and stained over time. The finished results looked outstanding. When he had completed the majority of the original work, a roof leak following a storm damaged my wooden floors and the ceiling and wall sheetrock upstairs. A few months later, Les returned and re-floored partial sections of two upstairs rooms. The original flooring had been applied with glue, so it was extremely difficult to get the floor level again so that new wood could be laid, but he managed to do so, and the net result was that the new flooring blended in seamlessly. Damage to the ceiling was also repaired expertly. Finally, when we moved into our new place, Les 1) made a number of sheetrock repairs throughout the house, 2) repainted most of the house (2400 sq. feet with several flights of stairs), 3) removed the carpeting and refloored the downstairs bedroom/office using hardwood, and 4) built a custom wall-to-wall (8' wide by 8' high) bookcase in one of the upstairs rooms, and 4) applied an epoxy coating to the garage. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of all of the work and feel confident in saying that Les can take on any challenge given to him. He is also dependable and trustworthy.
Robert and his team were very professional and completed the project according to the time line. They were able to remove all popcorn ceiling, retexture and add new lighting throughout the home. He also was easy to work with throughout the project.
We had Cory Lloyd out here for two different jobs over two days. One was a garbage disposal removal/installation and the other was a siding fix on our house. Cory Lloyd was very friendly and professional! He arrived both times on time and explained everything he would be doing. All repairs were done perfectly and all cleanup was done. We have used Houston Local Handyman a few times in the past and they are always our go to place for any home repairs. We highly recommend them! Thank you so much!
I hired Welton to remove the popcorn textures on my bedroom walls and ceiling. He visited my place before I hired him to take a look at the work to give me a quote. He got the job done within 2-3 days, and he did an amazing job. He was very open and communicative with me and also mindful of my space. I'm very pleased with his work and will be hiring him again for future work at my place!
I hired Tony and T-N-T construction to remove and install a new drive way at my house. The price for the work was better than fair and the speed at which his team executed the work was impressive! They did a great job and were fast and efficient. cant ask for any more. would definitely hire them again.
After seeing the actual size of my yard, understanding what I wanted accomplished Marten gave me a firm price for the work. I increased the scope to include laying 2 pallets of sod. The crew were on time each day, cleaning up after themselves after working. Work include Roto tilling the backyard, leveling and sloping it into the front for better drainage. As work started I decided to have them remove 11' of privacy fence replacing it with 2 sections of wrought iron instead. The convenience of AGSO being able to handle the two different jobs, finishing the entire project in 3.5 days (we had heavy rain day 2) was an asset. Based on conversations with Marten I plan to have him provide quotes for additional work around the house for replacing rotten wood, painting, etc. Please give AGSO the chance to quote your project.
I asked David to remove three old fluorescent fixtures from our kitchen, replace them with dimmable LED fixtures, and patch the ceiling, match the texture and then paint it. As the work progressed, we added lights and ended up having them paint the whole kitchen. They rolled with the punches and still completed the work when they said they would. They impeccably protected everything from the painting work and left the kitchen cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend these guys.
I needed my old leaking patio cover removed and a new one built to prevent water from flowing off the house into the back door area. Ero's Landscaping did a great job in removing the old structure quickly. After some weather and communication delays, the new structure was built in several days and does a great job in covering my back porch area and diverting rainwater away from the house. And especially it does not leak!! Working with Ero's Landscaping was friendly and easy. They built what I requested and left it open for me to add more at a later date if I want it. I only gave them a 4 star due to the weather delays, which really was out of their hands. Overall they did a very good job. I'd recommend them to others and plan to use them again myself in the future.
Leo transformed my 1970s vaulted-ceiling family room by removing the original paneling and replacing with sheetrock and then painting the room pale gray. His drywall craftsmanship is excellent and the paint job was very good.
I got my shower and bathroom floor tiled. They removed the old tile in a clean manner, I was surprised.
They showed up at my house ready to work I had a leaking faucet in my kitchen and within minutes the technician had removed the old one and had installed the new one very quick and professional you have honestly earned a customer with me and thanks again
Rey re-grouted my entire flagstone courtyard and cut out a piece of the patio that I wanted removed. He did a good job and the rain was definitely a problem beyond his control. There was some concrete debris left at the job from the demo and the grouting which is why I did not rate him as excellent.
We do trash removal, pressure washing, painting and remodeling. We are a dependable group, and we make sure the job is done right.
