- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of experience as a veterinary technician and bather, learning about the importance of proper handling, safety techniques and how to identify and treat common skin conditions. I completed my professional training through a corporate academy, then went on to study under seasoned groomers. I do my continued education through attending seminars and networking with other groomers, to stay up to date on the latest methods and techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out working as a veterinary technician, years ago.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with almost all dogs; from puppies to seniors, big and small, fluffy to hairless, shelter dogs to show dogs, each with various temperaments.
