FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After years of working in after school programs and a childrens shelter (where I ran exercise and physical activities) I became an assistant coach for Judson ISD. I have been doing that for 2 years. I have always had a passion for exercise and helping others. So, I became a personal trainer and I have loved it! I am also the Head Coach and Trainer for the San Antonio Crusaders, a professional women's basketball team of the WBCBL.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
While I train and coach a wide variety of clients (athletes, youth, seniors, group fitness, rehab, weight loss, etc.) my most common are individuals whose primary goal is to lose weight and then stay in shape.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I thank God for all my opportunities to work with others and I am always very well pleased with each and every story that I have been fortunate enough to be a part of. But, one in particular of recent work, is Mike D. BTW he is happy for me to tell this story. I would not speak on anyone's personal hurdles unless their expressed permission. His was more personal because he is a good friend of mine. He was partially paralyzed, and when we began working out, he could not rotate his ankles nor stand up on his own. After 3 months of hard work, I am pleased to say that Mike D. can now walk. He even pushes ME in his old wheel chair! We are now transitioning to him walking with the use of a cain.
