Thom is a knowledgeable, good handyman. His pace is perhaps a tad slower than other handymen, so allot your time accordingly. Overall, I'd recommend.
Great service, nice people, excellent job
Vardiman is fantastic. Him and his crew work hard/fast and care about doing the job to the clients expectations. I will/would easily hire them again or recommend them to anyone. I hired them to de-floor/trim a house, gut a two bathrooms/kitchen and demolish an external garage/slab.
We got in touch with Aaron for interior painting needs in Killeen. Not only did he do an excellent job on the paint, but he also drilled dead-bolt and peephole holes in two doors and installed door hardware with expert skill. He's also a great carpenter. We had a kitchen panel chewed up from a previous pet, and I was hoping he could do this as an add-on. He replaced the entire panel, trim, and kick-board and found a stain that matched the kitchen perfectly. Parts and labor on this for around $40! Plus he repaired the front door jam which saved me hundreds on replacing the entire door! He's on time, on budget, and trustworthy. I will not hesitate to call Aaron when I need anything done.
We had the worst luck with hiring contractors for our rental UNTIL we found Mario. He and his workers were amazing! They were all very professional, punctual and they work unbelievably hard and it shows. We were so pleased, we can't wait for Mario and his crew to do our own house. We are very picky and have high standards but I would recommend him to anyone and everyone, they are that good! It is hard to find quality reliable workers these days and if you go with Mario you won't be let down.
july,15, 2015. i had t-horn remove my disposal and then straight pipe my kitchen sink. my 1st positive impression was by looking at this site. benton responds to all his customers feedback and thanks them on this site. he also has a code of ethics he discusses on this site. also he called me this morning to followup and make sure everything is working. my sink was stopping up when my dishwasher drained and it was gross. i am still checking to make sure it is ok because i did not run a load of dishes last night. i am sure it is fine. he also replaced a bib on the outside. so how many plumbers do you know that do this type of thank you and telephone follow up and discusses ethics? NONE!!; well now there is one that that does. anyway, i wanted to develop a relationship with t-horn, because you just never know when you will need a plumber. thanks benton. patrick
Let me begin by saying that I'm an EXTREMELY discerning person when it comes to selecting someone to decorate, repair or renovate portions of my home. In addition, I work long hours and travel a good bit, so I don't have a lot of spare time to spend following up with people, ensuring they stay on track with a specific job, etc. This particular job involved repairing what I thought was pretty extensive drywall damage that popped up following foundation repair last winter; in addition, I wanted the living room and dining room painted. After having several contractors come by to view the job, I was getting increasingly frustrated; they were a terrible combination of condescending, rushed, dismissive and potentially dishonest (one guy told me I'd probably need to remove an entire wall. OK, sure.) When I contacted Demterius, he arranged to come view the job the same day and was very thorough in his evaluation. As it turned out, I didn't really have a drywall problem so much--I had a LOT of split and peeling paint with a few deeper cracks thrown in for good measure. he was very honest in his assessment and assured me that things weren't as dire as they appeared. Also, and perhaps most importantly, Demterius was courteous, friendly, polite and displayed a great sense of humor...that goes a long way with me. Once we settled on a price--which was UTTERLY REASONABLE--we scheduled the work, and we were on our way. Probably the single most impressive aspect of this experience is that the day Demetrius was supposed to start work, we were in the midst of a record-breaking cold snap that slowed down his previous job and caused it to run long. Rather than calling me to reschedule, he came to my house to personally apologize for the delay and reschedule for the very next morning. Nice! Once the work commenced, it was truly astounding; the repairs to the cracks have rendered them invisible (and some of them were LARGE), and the paint job has completely transformed this house into a much more contemporary, sophisticated home; it was built in the 80's, and there's quite a bit of ugliness we're exorcising. Demetrius has the steady hand of a surgeon and the eye of an artist--I can't recommend him strongly enough, and I'll definitely be using his services for the multiple projects on my agenda for the next year.
