My experience with K9 Kountry was been amazing. I came to Butch last year inquiring about obedience and protection training for my german shepherd. From the moment I left, after the first training session, my dog and I began to accomplish our training goals. Butch has been extremely generous with his time and is always available to help or answer any training questions. I couldn't ask for a better k9 companion after working with Butch. He has really helped me and my dog to develop extreme trust and responsibility to each other. I went from having a crazy puppy to a well mannered dog who I am now able to bring ANYWHERE with me. Before working with Butch, I wasted time and money with other local trainer and facilities. K9 Kountry is hands down the dog training in the DFW area!!!!!!!

Nicole was great with my Australian Shepherd puppy. We started when he was 8 weeks old. By 9 weeks he was sitting and coming. By 10 weeks he was laying down and learning "off". I highly recommend Nicole!

Nancy is amazing! The first session alone pretty much changed everything. Our puppy is responding to commands very quickly and he is only 4 months old. He is German Shepherd Border Collie mix and for a pup, he's pretty big. The only things that we have issues with are his typical puppy behaviors which will only go away over time (bursts of hyperness kind of stuff).

After shopping around looking at different dog trainers, I'm SO happy I went with Pamela! Over the course of the few weeks, she taught me so much about how my body language and tone of voice communicate different things to my dog and how to use that to teach him obedience and manners. Not only did my dog master the commands, I learned how to be in control and take leadership of walks and day to day life. Pamela offered great advice and insight when I needed it and I would highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you!

Larry came in calm and collected when our new german shepherd was barking his head off at the "sign" of an intruder. He was understanding and explained things in a way that we could easily process and execute on our own in the future. We will definitely be using him for any troubled spots in the future, as well as boarding Cooper with him in a few weeks!

Lauren has been an amazing trainer, and a wealth of knowledge on dog behavior. I first worked with Lauren over a year ago with my spaz of a German Shepherd puppy, and once I got her back from the 2 week program Lauren offered - she was a dream! Lauren was so personable, and she really takes a personal interest in you and your pup. I love that she was very goal oriented, and with her help my pup went on to obtain her CGC certification, as well as continue to learn in advanced obedience and off leash work.

I happened upon Wendy and her website late last year when I was looking for a new JRT pup to bring into my life. For months, I had been researching breeders and trainers all over Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas looking for a very specific kind of breeder and program. I had special circumstances and requests, so it goes without saying I was intent upon finding the right person. Although I was very concerned with finding an experienced, knowledgeable breeder with high standards, I also wanted someone that exuded sincerity, compassion, and intellect. After looking over her website a few days, I decided to take the plunge and contact Wendy. Once she replied to my very lengthy email in kind, I knew I’d made the right choice. She happened to have one last pup available that also needed special care and attention. Over the next two months, Wendy kept in close contact with me regarding the pups growth and development. Although I had high standards for a breeder/trainer, Wendy blew them away with a dedication I would not have believed possible. In addition to answering countless questions, frequently sending me updated pictures, and meticulously caring for this pup, Wendy somehow managed to make me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. As I transitioned Champ to my home, Wendy was with me every step of the way offering advice and encouragement when needed. In fact, I’ve had to call upon Wendy’s help a couple times to straighten out an unwanted behavior. As someone has already said above, she has a no-nonsense approach that is both patient and practical. That last bit is important to me, as I’ve found many trainers and training resources to be completely at odds with the realities of family and work life. I wholeheartedly recommend Wendy’s services to anyone looking for an amazing, well-behaved companion!

I contacted brandon regarding my female German shepherd, lea who was extremely anxious and had obedience issues. Brandon was quick in his response and was able to schedule Lea for an evaluation. Brandon was hopeful that he could help Lea with her anxiety. I was very nervous because at the time, I was expecting my very first child while my husband was deployed. I felt overwhelmed! Brandon could see my frustration. Over a course of three weeks Lea had an amazing turn around with Brandon. I can not only see how relaxed lea is, but I am able to walk her and not worry about her barking or being aggressive. I am extremely pleased with brandon's training. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

We went through 2 other dog trainers before finding Rebeccah who uses positive training methods. She could read our dogs' body language and know exaxtly what to do to solve their anxiety problems. We had 3 sessions of private training and learned all the basic commands, which helped tremendously with their insecurties, plus gave us the confidence we needed to know how to give our dogs a normal life that they deserve. I would highly recommend Rebeccah for any dog training needs. She is so patient and understanding and you will see she is excellent at what she does!! We will be calking her soon for more advanced training.

I contacted Eli after having problems with my German shepherd and hearing through many sources that he was the best in Dallas. Dogs (yes, even the sweet cuddly ones), do not innately know how to behave or what's appropriate in the human world. Eli taught us how to establish boundaries and keep Redd under control in the toughest of situations. Now, Redd can hike off leash and pass other animals without breaking command. I would recommend training to ANY dog owner. There is a simple test for this.. take your pup to a dog park.. allow him/her to play with the other dogs and say "come" only once out loud.. if he doesn't run to you and sit by your feet.. call Eli. When this situation is transferred to a speeding car or an aggressive wild animal.. you will thank him.

After interviewing several trainers, Koda and I attended a private lesson with Steve. Besides being knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors, Steve had Koda acting better than he ever had with me just after 10 minutes. By the end of the lesson it was obvious that the issue was mostly me. Me pulling on the leash. Me not giving Koda the right direction. Me letting Koda get away with stuff. Not once did Steve make me feel stupid. He answered all of my questions and I know he had to be tired of telling me the same things over and over. After a couple of lessons and attending the weekly classes, our class attended a city festival and Koda was amazing! Before Steve's help I would have had my hands full just on the walking part with me being pulled behind him like his personal kite. He also would have jumped on everyone when saying hello. Koda walked on a leash beside me past a live band, with rides making noise and kids screaming and he did not freak out or misbehave. We actually made the front page of the local newspaper and got tons of complements on how well behaved Koda was. While we still have a long way to go in our journey on making Koda the best dog he can be, Steve will be the only trainer we will use.

Treva is the person I trust the most with my dog, house.. I would trust her with my debit card and pin if left out on the counter. She is sooooo trustworthy. My previous dog was a great dane/akita/german shepherd rescue with aggression issues and she was amazing with him. My current pup is a 150 lb jumbo great dane rescue and she is amazing with him as well. She goes above and beyond what is required. She spends extra time with the pets she cares for and really cares for her clients - four legged and two. She sits for my across the street neighbors and is over there at the crack of dawn. I swear the girl never sleeps. She is also a fab gal and a great friend to have!!

Best training program I have had. Wish I had known about the program sooner and used it with otherdogs. Training is fun for the dog and there is no yelling or punsihment methods used. Speak to your dog in a normal tone of voice and they wantingly repsond. We had such good results with our American Shepherd we are now going to train our 4 year old mean Chihuahua who does not get along with other dogs or people. Worth every penny the program cost!

We did a board and train with our German Shepherd for 6 1/2 weeks and it was absolutely phenomenal! Hallie came back a completely different dog. Brian and Heather took care of our girl and kept us updated all the time. We enjoyed our visits with her and we're extremely impressed with everything that she was taught.
