My 10 year old was getting bored with his previous instructor's teaching methods and had been begging us to drop guitar lessons. We thought we would try a different instructor. We've had only one meeting, but I saw a light reappear in my son's eyes and he is excited to start lessons with Jon. The video lessons and use of newer computer technology and has my son excited and motivated to keep learning to play.
I contacted Georgie for guitar lessons. I was a beginner at the time with absolutely no experience with guitar. Georgie has been fantastic with me and my new music journey. He is super patient and he really makes class fun. Not to mention he is a total bad to the bone guitarist! Definitely worth looking into, best price and experience in Fort Worth!
I was looking for a new piano instructor for my 5 year old son. Nicole exceeded my expectations. She is very upbeat and positive!
Prior to dennis, i had never taken guitar lessons. Always tried to teach myself. I struggled since i had no structure, i would consistantly get lost, which would make me put the guitar down due to frustration. Deciding to hire dennis was a break thru for me, and honestly wish i would have looked into it much sooner. Not only has my skills progressed, which they due weekly at a much faster rate then when i was trying to learn on my own, but my confidence and motivatation has increased greatly. I look forward to meeting with dennis each week and building off of what he taught me the previous week. The amount of patience dennis has is great, and the way he explains different things so that i understand is awsome. Would definetly recommend dennis to anyone, whether they have just purchased their first guitar, or they have tried numerous times to teach themselves, or even if you have alot of the basics down, but looking to take your knowledge and playing to the next level.
First guitar lesson was fun and valuable. Looking forward to many more.
f youre looking for serious results and a no-nonsense approach to learning an instrument, I highly recommend The Ridglea School of Music. Taking music lessons as an adult can be intimidating. You dont really know how your secret inner-desire to be a rock star will be taken by those you share it with. Usually people just smile and nod. The only thing thats a sure thing, is that youll find someone who will take your money and tell you good job. Why bother, right? Its so much easier to just sit at home and play the same tabs over and over again and pat yourself on the back. From my first lesson with my teacher Eric, he took my dreams of starting a band and showed me how to make them happen. Eric met me where I was and gently let me know what I needed to work on. I never felt intimidated or embarrassed. I wanted results and Eric showed me how I could achieve them the right way.
My son loves his piano lessons!
I highly recommend Zera Music Company! My son loves his piano lessons and has made great progress in a short amount of time. Kyle is a great teacher!
Zach taught me bass guitar for almost two years and it went extremely well. The lessons I received from him were fast paste whether it was jazz or funk the music I learned was new and awesome to me. We covered some very fundamental rules and jazz standards that helped take me to the next step. Seems like Zach knows a lot about what he's doing.
Tim is a wonderful teacher, he make learning the piano fun for me and my son. I encourage everyone to reach out to Stage Volume and work with Tim...thank Tim
Stevie has been great with my 6 year old son. He adjusts his lessons to help maintain his interest as he is first learning the guitar. You can tell he has a genuine love for music!
Andra is a dear friend of mine. She is incredibly talented, easy to relate to, and she has a wonderful presence about her. She has helped me with learning how to better express myself through music and has taught me a thing or two on the bass guitar. I would highly recommend her as a teacher!
I am an adult student and have taken guitar lessons on and off with various guitar teachers for the past 12 years. I have been working with Mark for the past year. I have learned more in 1 year with Mark than I have over the past 5 years with other instructors. Mark pushes you to learn (in a friendly way) all aspects of music (theory, technique, ear training, etc). His lessons make you think. I also appreciate that Mark tailors my lessons to my specific personality type and challenges me to get better at each lesson.
I took guitar and ukelele lessons from Austin for two years. I really enjoyed my time with him, and was able to progress really quickly to playing and singing on the church band!
My performances are fun for me and my audiences. The learning is also enjoyable, allowing for feedback and student experiences and tastes. The lessons are tailored to the students' needs, especially when we go one on one. If you are a beginner, I will help you chose a good instrument with reasonable pricing. I also set up the action and repair harps and guitars. You may benefit from an adjustment.
I began taking guitar lessons from Kenneth when I was 14, and right away, I noticed his ability to mold the lesson into an experience that fit 𝘮𝘺 musical interests and what I wanted to learn. Whether I wanted to learn theory, practice a certain technique or rudiment, or just have fun learning a song, Kenneth could always adapt and make the lesson interesting and enriching. This is a quality that many music teachers lack, and it’s the aspect of his teaching that kept me enticed for so long. In addition to being a great teacher, Kenneth is a passionate music fan of many different genres, and through taking lessons with him, I was exposed to many new musical concepts that opened my eyes to the world of music I was yet to discover. Though I no longer take lessons, I can say for sure that my time with Kenneth has made me a much more skilled, receptive and well rounded musician, and I am very thankful for all the things I learned.
As a self-taught guitarist then later having private lessons. I feel that anyone wanting to learn to play already enjoys playing the guitar even just starting out. When I started, I learned the songs I liked that I listened to. I think most of us feel this same way about learning to play guitar. It should be fun and fulfilling to us as we learn the guitar as well the music that we so love to hear. If I can do it, I believe anyone can. So I allow the student to choose what they want to learn.
