I was very impressed with Buddy. He worked with me on many changes and was very professional. I would recommend him to everyone. He loves what he does and in the catering business that's important. The food was wonderful and he was very prompt.
Luke did a great job catering a sit-down dinner for my daughter's bachelorette weekend. He responded to my initial inquiry promptly and was easy to communicate with via e-mail and text as we planned the menu. The girls wanted to float around the pool and enjoy a few adult beverages during the day, but wanted a restaurant-quality meal that evening without having to worry about dressing up or driving. Luke arrived promptly and served a great meal with a choice of lamb chops or filet mignon as the primary proteins. The meal included a sushi appetizer, salads & sides, and a yummy dessert of creme brulee. He cooked, cleaned, and rolled with the punches with this rowdy group of 8 ladies and they all had a great time and enjoyed the meal. We will definitely hire Luke again for other dinner parties at the house.
The review that was written on 7/13/14 by whomever, listen to how business should have been properly conducted on your end. I had a similar situation with SRD, unable to afford the deposit fee until after the 1st of the month, I met with Cindy on around the 16th or 17th. I explained that I only got paid twice a month and all my last check went to bills, however before leaving the consultation I KNEW that SRD was who I wanted at my wedding. I signed the contract, and even though I left without a copy, I still felt awesome about the experience. I stayed in contact with Cindy via email ever 2 or so weeks until I finally made my deposit and she came out to see my venue. If they do not have a signed contract from you and they do not hear from you in a certain amount of time, you can not point the finger and blame them for your horrible experience in wedding planning. Think about how many couple they meet with who say they will call and never do because they hired someone else. They are looking out for the better of their business, just like any other business owner would do. Please don't write reviews while emotional, it is always best to write a review 24 hours after the matter. I wish you the best of luck with your future wedding plans and I hope everything turns out Fabulous for you. P.S. Cindy is absolutely a dream to work with, cant wait for my Big Day!!
Tony was absolutely amazing from the very beginning, since the first message I received from him he showed him his professionalism, patience and his true passion for his catering business. He always responded to every single question I had with a smile, and I had A LOT. He always reassured me that he was going to make my wedding day a special day, and he did, even with some obstacles due to having a small kitchen at the venue I picked, and having very little time to setup, he made everything worked to perfection, the food was delicious, he made sure me and my husband got something to eat at our wedding! I was full just after eating the appetizers since they were of very generous size. His staff was incredible too. He truly seemed thankful for giving him the opportunity of being part of our wedding, but I'm the one that's thankful for having found Tony. You definitely get your money worth, and compared to what others caterers want to charge and for less food, you will get more than what you are paying for. I foresee and wish much success in the future for Tony's business.
I partnered with Tropical Flame Catering as s surprise for my wife's birthday. I was not disappointed. Chef Kohle arrived early and if you know me, you know I am a stickler for punctuality. She was lively and very easy going. You could just feel her warmth, she felt like family. The meal included two fresh house salads with house made vinegrett. So tasty. Followed by the wonderful grilled bread. Then came the beautifully seasoned and juicy jalapeño honey chicken with fluffy yellow rice and green beans. Oh so good. For dessert came the grilled pound cake with a house strawberry mango drizzle that made my taste buds praise the Lord! It was so incredibly delicious! THEY SHOULD SELL IT!!! Chef Kohle was punctual, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. My wife was so happy and we look forward to working with Tropical Flame Catering in the Future! Thank You!

I attended The International School of Culinary Arts from 2010 through 2012. Started my career working at Sport Authority Field a week after I started school and worked under some of the best chefs in Denver, Co. While at the stadium I worked action stations, made stocks, sauces, fabricated meats, smoked meats, made rubs, cooked Asian, Cajun, Italian, Southern, Southwestern, Latin, BBQ and many other styles. Chef DeJohn put me through an online course called Rouxbee and taught me technique to further my culinary education. I worked at the Colorado Convention Center in Garde Manger from 2011 through 2014 doing events ranging from 150 people to 12,000 people. I've worked at Coors Field in their Gluten Free Station and won awards for the job I did there. I also worked action stations at the Pepsi Center cooking Asian food. I've also worked at Ted's Montana Grill as a grill cook for over a year until I moved here to Texas where I've worked in a retirement community cooking 5 star food
