I needed a good piano tuner to service the piano at my child's elementary school. It was badly out of tune and had several sticky keys. Mr. Harmsen was pleasant and professional. His skilled tuning made the piano sound great!Dec 15, 2016Verified
He is a kind person. He was running late and called me to tell me he would be here at 5:30 PM instead of 5. No big deal to me. Then he showed up at 5 minutes to 6 without any warning. He used the bathroom and was in there almost 15 minutes, answered his phone while working, having a conversation. He left here at 7pm. Not much time actually tuning the piano. He got very defensive when I mentioned that my experience with tuners is that they take a longer time to tune. I paid in cash and asked for a receipt. He said that he doesn't do receipts. I asked him to at least write something down to show as a transaction. He was very upset that he had to do that. I just wanted a tuned piano without much hassle.Mar 24, 2017VerifiedEric Harmsen, Piano Craftsman, LLC's reply
I'm sorry you were disappointed with my services. I was hired to tune a piano, nothing more. I have no control over the traffic or other outside circumstances. It is my goal to provide every customer with a professional piano tuning and presentation. If this was not meant to your satisfaction, I apologize.
Took the time to tune my piano well. I have asked him to return to do some additional work on it. Overall, a great experience.May 8, 2019Verified
I was pleased to be able to book an appointment with Eric on relatively short notice. I will write an additional review after he has been here to tune my piano.Jan 28, 2019Verified
Eric tunes a piano I bought from the DI. It was in rough shape, but it now sounds beautiful. He also gave a lot of other recommendations to help improve sound quality!Apr 24, 2019Verified
