Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Experience. Quality. Emotional Healing. Nutritional Advisory. The programs are not a one-size fits all, but carefully tuned to fit your need wherever you are at in your life. Building a solid foundation of strength in the physical, mental and emotional realms is a priority and doable! I like to make it fun as well as challenging. "I didn't say it would be easy...only that it would be worth it!" Transformation is the goal! Seeing the hope, sparkle, & passion grow in clients as we move through our sessions is what I enjoy. I love problem solving (math minor, computer science major). I like that everything is figure-out-able. Most folks already know what they should be doing...but might just be a little off track, or need some accountability. When we work together I can help them get on track, reduce pain, prevent injury, build vitality, and bring back that feeling of wellness again!

I met Linda when she was a Corporate Yoga Coach at Rocky Mountain Power several years ago. Recently I contacted her for a series of private sessions, primarily to address issues with my neck. She's a problem solver and instead of treating symptoms went directly to the root causes, such as bad posture, alignment, ergonomics, flexibility, strength, and so on. Her holistic approach has me on my way to a much improved outlook, not only for my neck, but for my general health as well. I'm very greatful to her coaching and this was money extremely well spent on myself. If you want to improve yourself, regardless of having a problem or being healthy, do as I did and call Linda. She also becomes a terrific friend!

Linda Black is absolutely phenomenal! My 11 year old daughter repeatedly asked to attend yoga class with me. I wouldn't let her come week after week because it was late on a school night and frankly I was going to unwind. So when it came to planning her birthday party I mentioned Ella's desire to do yoga to Linda and she planned the perfect yoga experience for Ella and her friends. She created a team building, value enriching experience. She effectively taught the girls that we become stronger by supporting one another and building each other up. The girls were edified by strengthening their mind, body, and spirit. It was also wonderful to get an email the following day from one of the girls parents saying it was the best birthday party they'd ever been to. Thank you Linda!

Linda was amazing to work with. She is known in the corporate wellness world and I knew I wanted to work with her. I was feeling stagnant and blocked in my business when I began to work with Linda. She taught me helpful concepts related to maintaining current clients I work with, how to get more visible and create a web presence and how to gain more clients. All of this using simple strategies that work over and over again. In 3 short months I have created excellent marketing materials including a newsletter and videos. I have increased my value with current clients and I'm doing even more work with them than before. I am on a trajectory with my business that I am so excited about! After working with Linda I feel confident and clear. Thank you for generously sharing and teaching and helping make my corporate wellness business even better.

I loved working with Linda one on one! This experience gave me so much insight into my personal practice as well as focused tutoring on how I can improve as an instructor. Linda has such a wealth of knowledge, I would highly recommend recording your private sessions so you can remember and refer back to each session often. The best word I can think of to describe my experience is "magical!" Linda taught me how to change the direction of my energy and truly "feel" the poses for the first time in my many years of practice. I am forever grateful and look forward to working with her more in the future!

Linda was a great coach. She really personalized the training to what I needed. She definitely exceeded my expectations and I'm grateful to have had time with her

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most clients come to me for three reasons: 1) to get out of pain (back, hips, knees, neck & shoulders) 2) to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility 3) to reduce stress and improve overall lifestyle. Through yoga alignment principles I have been successful at helping thousands of clients feel better, move freely, and create life long habits of health. I include a comprehensive lifestyle analysis and make recommendations based on our initial assessment. Most clients have a specific reason for calling...a bad back, injury, or they are working on more advanced yoga moves and want to hone their alignment. I customize the sessions to the client. The client can easily move forward through the class material presented each week. It is taught in a way that builds on previous knowledge...step by step, creating a more skillful way of living.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When you are looking for a yoga coach you probably have a specific purpose or intent. Share your intention with prospective instructors. Ask them how they can help you with your goals. Do they specialize in weight loss, alignment, emotional energy? Ask for references and credentials. Where did they train and what specialty training do they have and how are they keeping up on their trade skills. Best question to ask: "Do they practice yoga on their own on a regular basis." and "How many teaching hours do you have?"
