FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most clients come to me for three reasons: 1) to get out of pain (back, hips, knees, neck & shoulders) 2) to improve strength, endurance, and flexibility 3) to reduce stress and improve overall lifestyle. Through yoga alignment principles I have been successful at helping thousands of clients feel better, move freely, and create life long habits of health. I include a comprehensive lifestyle analysis and make recommendations based on our initial assessment. Most clients have a specific reason for calling...a bad back, injury, or they are working on more advanced yoga moves and want to hone their alignment. I customize the sessions to the client. The client can easily move forward through the class material presented each week. It is taught in a way that builds on previous knowledge...step by step, creating a more skillful way of living.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When you are looking for a yoga coach you probably have a specific purpose or intent. Share your intention with prospective instructors. Ask them how they can help you with your goals. Do they specialize in weight loss, alignment, emotional energy? Ask for references and credentials. Where did they train and what specialty training do they have and how are they keeping up on their trade skills. Best question to ask: "Do they practice yoga on their own on a regular basis." and "How many teaching hours do you have?"
