I came across Just Law through searching online. They represented themselves as a firm that is child focused and family friendly which is exactly what I wanted. I chose Laura Hansen-Pelcastre because of her background of representing children. I am so grateful for the free consultation they provided, I instantly felt that I had someone to walk through Divorce with who was professional, graceful, and kind. I'm so grateful to have found Laura and the team at Just Law, they are so patient with me, willing to answer any questions I have, and always quick to respond. I absolutely felt the needs for myself and my kids were protected and honored.

This firm handled my divorce. Jarred did an excellent job, especially with the memos and other documents he submitted to the court.

I hired Mckail for my divorce that included many issues and child custody issues with a party that was not willing to agree on many things. I can not say anything but good things about Mckail. She was so amazing through the entire process of my divorce. Took care of all my needs and was very detailed oriented. Great personality and easy going but when it comes to dealing with other lawyers she doesnt play around. Thanks Mckail for being awesome!

I had Nathan prepare a divorce for me, it was filed within 24 hours (real quick) and all of my questions answered professionally. The cost of services rendered was very reasonable and the communication was good. I had no problem reaching him when needed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Last year I was dealing with the separation of a rough 5 year marriage. After a really bad experience with another Divorce attorney my cousin told me I needed to speak with her friend Vince, from my very first conversation he put my mind at ease and took a huge load of stress off my back, I was amazed that in such a short time we were able come to a resolution I felt was fair and much better than what I was originally told to expect by other attorneys. It's was such a great experience working with Vince, he showed me some tough love at times but it was his experience and patience with me that really showed me I had picked the right guy to defend me. Thank you Vince for all your work on my case I hope my review helps it's the least I can do for you after what you've done for me.

Sam is representing me in a custody case as he did in a previous divorce. His performance was stellar, the Judge Bruce Lubeck was and is a prick with ears.

Stacy Roberts @ Long Okura was a tremendous help with our divorce mediation. She was very knowledgable and provided invaluable legal advice and options to assist us in resolving previous "sticking points" or disagreements in our divorce terms. We had initially set out to handle our divorce on our own but became overwhelmed with the process and it stalled out for nearly a year. Thanks to Stacy, we completed mediation and she filed all required documents within a week. It was surprisingly affordable and offered the peace of mind that it was done correctly. We were able to come to a fair resolution that both parties are satisfied with.

Mr. Birk at Utah Divorce Help has been a godsend. In my lengthy, difficult divorce dispute he's been incredible to work with. From quick responses to my questions to error-free documents, Mr. Birk remembers the many many details of my case and has never let me down! I had been through a couple attorneys before him, and had issues with communication or getting the facts of my case wrong. I have NEVER had to worry about those things with Mr. Birk representing me! I live out of state, and sometimes cannot make it out to Utah for hearings, but with representation like Utah Divorce Help, I never need to worry! I seriously would not go anywhere else when it comes to my family's legal needs! Thank you Mr. Birk!

    About

My mediation practice is near and dear to my heart. I am by nature a creative problem solver and enjoy working in a collaborative manner. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the precepts behind mediation. I treat each mediation with the utmost respect and will never leave the table before I have given my full effort to encourage settlement. I was first certified as mediator while in law school, where I competed on our Alternative Dispute Resolution team. My style is a bit unorthodox. I focus on the actual conflict and seek outside of the box solutions. I do well with high conflict situations and often bring parties to agreement when their attorneys thought that it would be impossible. This isn't a guarantee concerning my services but an example of how I work. I am currently the only plaintiff Special Education attorney in the state of Utah. My primary focus is on IEP development and due process complaints. I approach my practice with a strong preference toward problem solving and collaboration. I hold workshops regularly for parent's who have children with disabilities. I run the blog iep.guide and have been working on my first book, A Collaborative Guide to Special Education: Parent's Guide, which should be released shortly. It focuses upon relationship building and includes the types of conflict management techniques I use in all of my work.

    About

As a mediator, I will not act as a judge, in that I will not make decisions FOR you – but I will act as a judge in that I will remain neutral. I will do my best to listen to everything that each of you needs to say, and I will ask questions to make sure that we have all of the information we need. If one person needs additional information, I will help to brainstorm to figure out how to get the information to that person. He or she might need the assistance of an accountant, a financial planner, or an attorney, before feeling confident enough to evaluate offers that are on the table or have enough background information to make decisions.

    About

I am a divorce mediator on the Court Roster for the state of Utah. Divorce/custody issues, parenting plans, and all types of family mediation are my specialty. I also mediate elder issues between family members with aging parents such as discrepancies on the elder person's care and living arrangements, inheritance issues, etc. I believe in preserving relationships between divorcing parents for the benefit of the children, and relationships between feuding siblings in adult families (aging parents do not need more stress!). I conduct relationship education classes and workshops with topics that include couple communication, co-parenting guidance, recognizing red flags in the dating world, how to communicate with aging parents, tips for step-families, etc.
