wow. that's all i have to say. the piece was incredible & i feel like the way she played it was just truly incredible. there was so much emotion in the piece & the way she played it conveyed that emotion in a way that was truly amazing to listen to. this girl knows her stuff !! she knows what she's doing. she is 100% qualified to be a teacher & if you need good violin lessons, TAKE THEM FROM LINDSAY !! she was describing her method to me & i think it's a very smart & intelligent method. she is amazing at what she does & if you want your child to be super good at violin then take lessons from lindsay !! she knows what she's doing & she's good at what she does.

Jessika is a really good teacher. She explains the theory clearly and gives good useful tips on how to remember things. She is really nice and friendly. Along with the exercises we did that week, I can also choose a favorite piece to practice, and I chose Canon in D (I am a beginner), which makes me really excited to continue my piano learning journey. She did not give a specific length of hour to practice everyday. As long as you diligently and consistently practice, you are in a good position. Thank you Jessika.

Rachel is an awesome teacher! She is very thorough and well rounded with her teaching. She also used several different books as well as different composers to learn from. I also love group lessons and playing for old folks homes. This has been the best experience in private lessons that I have ever had. Something Rachel could work on is maybe not going over on lessons...oh wait! I appreciate that because she never wraps up a lesson until Inunderstand the concept fully! She's great!

Tong is adorable and very knowledgeable about her profession! I’m 25 and decided to start learning the piano, she made me feel very comfortable about that and was very willing to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend her.

I grew up classically studying and performing the violin with Callen since we were 4 years old. We were taught well, and we were taught HOW to teach. Callen devotes a lot of her time and passion into her teaching. She was trained very well and has been trained in how to be a very effective teacher. She knows what it takes.

My daughter and I have loved working with Rachel. She's been great for my son just starting out with violin. He's a very sensitive kid and she is great with him, especially when he's having a hard day. We expect to stay with her for a long time

I really love working with Dr. Starr. I have never walked out of his class without learning something new. One thing I really appreciate is that he takes the time to explain the violin/viola method he teaches. I gain a deeper understanding of technique once I know why. I have had many "Oh, that makes sense" moments. Another thing that makes class fun is that his personality is very buoyant, because he is very jovial yet earnest. He has never lost his frame of mind, considering I am a teenager. He always looks for my full effort and expects the best from me, which is something that has helped me personally. I took practicing lightly before I learned how to practice effectively. I highly recommend him to anyone who is thinking to take violin/viola lessons.

She is so organized and always make the calendar so it works with my kids school schedule. She goes out of her way to make sure kids actually practice and advance. I also like how she keeps the kids involved in festables and other events. The group lessons help my child progress because they have to share thier skills and play for other kids. Great teacher.

About

I have extensive experience with the size, fit, and adjusting the violin to best fit the student. Playing the violin shouldn't hurt if it hurts something is wrong. The set up of the instrument is extremely important to both your child's comfort and technique. This is an individual combination of playing on the correct size of violin, chinrest, and shoulder rest all working together for your child. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with bachelors degrees in violin performance and in commercial music. With also holding a degree in commercial music I have experience, and am comfortable, with modern/pop music styles, have composition experience, and can offer my students recording services. While I enjoy teaching girls, I also enjoy and am comfortable with teaching boys and not intimidated by them. I am a mother of two boys and the majority of my past students have been boys. Being a mother myself, two boys and one girl, I have plenty of experience with kids and being a parent and I understand parents' needs and challenges also.
