Lifestyle Bookkeeping (Laury) does the bookkeeping for all 3 of my businesses. She is very professional, organized, thoroughly engaged and can convey difficult financial concepts clearly and easily. She's great to work with and is always on top of things. What I really like is that's she's way more than a bookkeeper and provides valid and compelling advice on virtually every aspect of my business. I've tried other accounting services and have been disappointed. Not with Laury. She gives me peace of mind that I didn't realize was possible. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically start the process with a new customer with a short phone conversation to see how I can help them. Then we schedule a time to meet face to face so I can get know them and their business better, and they get to learn more about me and how I can best serve them. I will then email them a client agreement detailing the services they requested along with the price. Upon their approval, we can get begin working together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. I passed the CPA exam. I have 6 years experience with the Internal Revenue Service auditing sole proprietors, S-Corporations and Partnerships. I owned and managed a pizza restaurant. I bought, sold, renovated, and leased residential real estate. I was a Controller for small business for 3 years. I've owned my own bookkeeping business for 5 years.
