Mily is amazing with my 2 yr old English staffy! He loves to pull on the leash and Mily on the first day was able to help me see that Koa could be on a leash without pulling! She also was sure to include me and teach me as well on how to help Koa. I can’t wait for us to train with Mily again!Sep 4, 2019Verified
Mily saved my life. As a first time puppy owner, I came to her in tears. She was patient with me and my dog. We worked through a few things and she worked with just my dog also. I owe my happy dog’s good behavior to her.Aug 6, 2019
Mily is just great with dogs. I have seen her in action with several dogs, and she has a great handle on all of them, big and small. She is excellent and really understands them. I highly recommend using Mily and Bark La Revolucion.Aug 7, 2019
Thanks Mily. I took Shelby for a walk this morning and she was almost perfect. 😀 What a difference.Oct 11, 2019Verified
Mily is very knowledgeable and loves what she does. She got my Dante, who is a yellow lab to walk properly, and stop jumping on everyone which was the reason for my need. He's very big and strong at 135lbs. and she handled it like a pro that she is.Aug 7, 2019
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Base price is $65/ session. This may change depending on the type of training needed. (ie. obedience, agility, reactivity/desensitization, Service training, etc.) Contact me for more details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to take a moment to get to know my client and their dog. I'll ask some important questions that will help identify problem areas and get to work on turning things around quickly. I typically work in 6- 12 week intervals. This way we can give your dog enough time to learn everything they need, including the five golden commands (sit, heel, stay, down, come), at their own pace, without overwhelming them. Stress dramatically reduces your dog's ability to learn! I always come prepared to make training fun, exciting and rewarding for all parties involved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My journey to becoming a talented dog trainer began 11 years ago when I stumbled upon the works of amazing behaviorists such as Patricia McConnel. I also looked into the operant and classical conditioning methods used by BF Skinner and Ivan Pavlov. This built the foundation upon which I stand today as a dog trainer. Currently, I continue to study behavioral science at University.
